Customer reviewI was there for two days. I know some other hostels in this turistical part of Istanbul in Sultanahmet but no one was so good like this new hostel. The location, the great terasse with a beautiful view to the mosques and the Bosphorus and the very friendly staff. free unlimited internet was good ... When someone search a good hostel in Sultanahmet i can only suggest Harmony Hostel... |

Helen JamesOur room was amazing - we booked a private room and ended up with a suite! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the location was absolutely perfect - on the edge of the tourist sites and ideal for the ferries. We had a brilliant time! |

joel PutnamExcellent value for the money. Not the nicest dorm or the best showers in the biggest room, but the upstairs lounge has a terrific view of the bosforus, and on the other side you can just see the top of the Aya Sofia. Simple turkish breakfast of bread, cheese, cucumber, tomato, and hard-boiled egg each day, and, get this, FREE DINNER. I've been backpacking across six continents and nearly 50 countries, and I've only ever seen that in one other place (Hostel Mostel, Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria, if you're curious). The dinner varies a lot depending on how many people are staying. If it's a ton of people, expect pasta. If it's only a couple, you might get something a little more interesting. |

Customer reviewLocation is central, dorms are too big (16 beds) hence, pretty noisy, especially on top floor, near the terrace. |

BRADLEY BYINGTONFirst of all, the staff here is very friendly and provides a breakfast of: hard-boiled eggs, salad, bread and juice. Second of all the location is excellent. Within tens minutes of walking you can be at the Archaeological museum, Topkapi Palace, the Basilica Cistern, the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, ferrys accross the bosporus, the grand bazaar, the spice bazaar and many restaurants/stores. |

Andrea LadeckaWe had a great time at the Harmony Hostel! We originally planned on staying for only 3 nights but we were having such a great time we stayed for 8 nights! The rooms are very nice and big, the hostel is very clean and maintained by a great cleaning lady thoughout the day. This is the only hostel that has a shisha lounge with gorgeous views of the Golden Horn. The rooftop terrace is also quite breathtaking with panoramic views of the Haigia Sofia. The hostel is located minutes to all the sights and very easy to find. What made this hostel memorable though is the fantastic staff, they were truly friendly, helpful and fun. |

Caroline WedlerA very homey and welcoming place, great views from the rooftop to the Golden Horn and cruise ships. Breakfast and dinner provided (better than help-yourself: they serve you) on the roof, unbeatable for the price. Toilet and bathroom facilities were very basic for Western European standards. Also avoid the 18-bed-dorm, the room is way too small for the amount of beds, and doesn't smell too good. Still, the staff make it a place, you like to return to in the evening; we were even tucked in with a blanket, when we fell asleep on the rooftop :-) |

Sofia PintoThis may sound a cliche, but Istanbul Harmony Hostel is a home away from home. Since the first minute their priority was to provide the best services and the best hospitality. The staff is friendly, always keen to help you and always with a smile. The hostel is extremelly clean, safe and a great place to chill after a long day of walk. They also provide free breakfast and free dinner!!! Too good to be true??? No! It's really true! If you are considering coming to Istanbul, check in in this hostel. You will not regret and you will have a wonderful experience! Sofia, Portugal |
