Liked: this is the cleanest hostel i've ever stayed among the cheapest.especially for toilet and bathroom.they're really cleaned and well maintained.there's renovation takes place in the room during my stay but those guys only do it during the day.coz that's thye only time people won't be in the room.breakfast is fine for those who's been staying there less than 3 days.i was touring around turkey for a week and istanbul was my last destination.and i found that all places give same menu.that makes me feel bored to have it anymore.overall,this place is good.

Disliked: there's no parking space provided by the hostel.we had to pay 15 lira per night for the parking space.

Liked: I loved the location, the rooms were clean and it was a great place to meet new people.

Disliked: The bed I got wasn't too comfy otherwise everything was great!

Liked: convenient to the sights..

Disliked: everything!!! entrance is thru' a carpet shop.. the stairwell is pretty dark and spooky.. do not stay there unless u have no other choices.. there are so many other better hostels in Istanbul..

Liked: The price and the location where quiet good.

Disliked: The stuff doesn't know too much about the city and so they can not help you with recommendations. Besides, they don't have map of the city!!

Liked: convenient,,, close to sightseeing spots.. and won't be so quiet when back at night

Disliked: facilities are really bad and somehow dirty.... the toilet is the worst i've ever seen in a hostel... and not exactly having sea view..... and the entrance is very difficult to find because it's a carpet shop instead....

Liked: I spent many evenings in Harmony Hostel and many of these were really great! I met very nice people, and the carpet covered open air terrace was really comfortable.

Liked: It's very nice place.. you can meet new friends from all over the world .. staff are really helpful, location is well, at dinner time there is big balcony to sit and relax.

Liked: the location, brekkie and supper included, young guy who works there and also sells carpets downstairs (sorry can't remember his name)..very nice and helpful. Met lots of nice travelers.

Disliked: No security, my expensive hiking boots went missing during my stay there. Noyt cool! The over zealous. slightly militant cleaning lady/.breakfast cook. She made it seem like we were in her way....breakfast was like being in the classic Seinfeld "Soup Nazi" episode...we made a joke of it in the end man she guards those pieces of bread closely! Watch your stuff here and don't leave anything lying around

Liked: Cheap and well located hostel. Staff is helpful.

Disliked: Breakfast is horrible: two slices of bread, one egg, 4 olives and some jam. You can also have tea on the horrible mugs they have around. There is also no toilet paper in the bathrooms and no coffee (and no sugar) on breakfast, so dont put your hopes up for breakfast. Kitchen is a messy hole. I didnt have the dinner in any of the two nights I was there. On the first night they were changing the palce around (moving beds and kitchen at night) and on the second night due to the lack of interest in their food. I have seen much better places.

Liked: It's great, nice place, good point to reach interesting places and rest between sightseeing and taking part in Istabuls night life. Service is very good and surprisingly it involved few more things that I really liked. I think I will back here some day.

Liked: great location, great staff, hostel is nice and clean. Rooftop is just wonderful! I really cannot imagine a better place to stay, hope to come back there!

Liked: The staff were extremely helpful, even after I checked out I still stopped by to ask some questions. The property is well kept, and free breakfast AND dinner makes it worth the money.

Disliked: Everything there was just fine, with the exception of being a little hard to find since it's in the back of a rug shop.

Liked: Free internet. Free dinner was also included, pretty basic pasta though.

Disliked: When we arrived the place had overbooked and we were put in another hostel up the street. (which turned out to be nicer anyway). The next day we had to move back to Harmony. The 10 bed dorm was noisy, and smelly.

Liked: the loction of hostel is in a sublime area, close to all tourist attractions and restuarants. the crew working at hostel was very helpful. the room we stayed in, had a great view and breakfast was very good.
