Liked: Location

Disliked: Receptionist dodgy with money, no facilities, washroom leaking, horrible breakfast.

Liked: Rooftop ıs great for meetıng ppl and relaxing. staff very nice

Disliked: toilet paper ran out a lot but not for long. bathrooms in the bedrooms often stank out the whole room.

Liked: Our first day in Istanbul Harmony Hostel accommodation was also the first working day of boy at the reception Ihsan Aslan who became a good friend. Location and service are excellent and the terrace is wonderful Hello to my friend Ihsan Aslan who made our stay very pleasant. I love istanbul and peopel from turkey Recomand tuturor romanilor acest hostel. Merhaba arkadaş İhsan Aslan ve ailesinin sağlık

Liked: free breakfast and dinner

Disliked: um, the free dinner was the same tomato pasta every night we never had enough toilet paper no locks on our dorm door very noisy lift we stayed on a bank holiday and no staff rocked up to work that day

Liked: Free breakfast and dinner (although dinner is very basic - just pasta and sauce) Air con in rooms Central location close to tourist attractions and tram stop

Disliked: I requested a female dorm and on the 2nd night they put a man in it! No lockers or locks on doors

Liked: The terrace is really excellent. Everynight people hang out on the terrace and share their travel experiences. Nice breakfast and free pasta are provided at night, good for budget travellers. Rooms are spacious and clean. The staffs are mostly friendly and helpful. The most important is that the hostel still tries to improve its services and facilities (e.g. Adding lockers, Changing the doors and adding showers) despite of its nice budget and corresponding services provided.

Disliked: A bit noisy due to it's location, in the main city, beside the tram line. Anyway, it's still fine.

Liked: Free breakfast and dinner Nice rooftop sitting/social area.

Disliked: Doors weren't locked ever.... Staff a bit lethargic.

Liked: the roof terrace was really nice and good for relaxing..free breakfast which included bread, sausage, tomato, cheese and eggs..also tea if you ask. Free internet in the hostel and location was really good..the blue mosque and hagia sofia were really close and the bazaar as well as the train station. They keep your luggage for free.

Disliked: the toilet in our dorm had no light and they took around 30 hours to repace it..and the only female toilet outside the room had no lock and was dirty + there wasn't any toiletpaper anywhere for quite a while.

Liked: This place is incredibly central! I loved the rooms and its character, the rooftop terrace is perfect and the 2 meals are fantastic for people on a budget. The staff too is very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: My only major concern was that the dorm rooms don't ever get locked. No one gets a room key although there are lockers for any valuables.

Liked: the terrace, main street location only 2 min walk to the Hagia Sofia and Blue mosque, wifi, big bedrooms, girls bedroom nice with air conditioner and sofas, nice breakfast with salty things. City center.

Disliked: only one shower in the bedroom for 10 or 12, and nothing to drink during breakfast.

Liked: We stayed 2.5 weeks and would come back any time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Each problem was taken seriously and resolved as best as possible. In the evening there was free pasta, and in the morning there was a good Turkish breakfast. It was always a great atmosphere and even families with children were warmly Welcome. There was a terrace with great views, We would recommend it to everyone.

Disliked: Nothing of note.

Liked: Great Staff!! Also, the free breakfast and dinner made this hostel a great deal. The location is fantastic - out of the harrassing bustle of sultanahmet, without being more than a 10 minute walk from the big sights. Also, it's closer to the Galata bridge and bazaars than most sultanahmet hostels.

Disliked: The bathrooms smelled and even though they were cleaned, trash wasn't taken out - the cleaning could have been better.

Liked: the location is great

Disliked: it was hard not to have have an airconditioner. It was so hot and humid in the room that is was like being in an ovn. The one fan was not enough.

Liked: that we paid 8 EUROS and got very clean room, towels, great breakfast, free spaghetti for dinner, beautiful view from balcony... the location is perfect (2 minutes from hagia sophia and blue mosque). stuff is really nice, friendly, and willing to prepare u tea at anytime (again free of charge) te only problem is that there are lockers, but there is no lock :) (which we bought just next to the hostel for 1 lira, so that is also no problem) all the best!

Disliked: nothing!

Liked: Excellent location. Wireless internet was available.

Disliked: No locks at any door. Paid for a 6-bed-dorm but was accommodated in a 12-bed-room. At arrival there was nobody at reception.

Liked: I love this place, it's got an amazing location, lockers in all rooms, it's clean, free breakfast AND dinner as well as a rocking rooftop patio that has wifi. LOVE IT!

Disliked: Nothing really, loved my stay, one of fav hostels anywhere.

Liked: We had a great stay here!! Staff was great and the location can't be beat!! And who can argue with free dinner??? Would definitely recommend!!

Disliked: Our only complaint would be that the air con in the 12 bed room didn't not keep up with the Istanbul heat! It got really hot in the day

Liked: This hostel has an awesome location right off the Gulhane metro stop. It's rooftop terrace was a perfect place to relax and the staff was really friendly. They also have a free pasta dinner which totally made the experience! I recommend staying here - really good value for the money.

Disliked: The breakfast was good but doesn't include coffee, so bring your own and they'll provide the hot water.

Liked: It was good than what I had expected. The room was so clean and was the bathroom too. The breakfast and dinner were good. The staffs were friendly and very helpful.

Disliked: Since it is so near to the tourist main attraction places, it is quite noisy here. But Im ok with that.

Liked: best thing was location. it is perfect--right in the middle of the city. also, has a great terrace. you can see the bosphorus bridge at night and its absolutely gorgeous. the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. they make you feel at home. comfortable beds, clean rooms, very good prices. and FUN FUN FUN! easy to meet other travelers and make friends.

Disliked: everything was great.
