Roland KübertNicely situated below the Blue Mosque it's a good starting place for explorint the Sultanahmet area. The metro is close by as well so you can easily travel around the city. Really helpful staff and nice, clean rooms; the online downside is that you might have a room going to the railroad tracks, but with the windows closed that's not a real issue. |

Michael Skip GalvinWell located and quite new and clean. There is a train track on the back side so you may want to request a room on the front side. Great view from the deck on the top of the building. |

Mathias SchuhReally nice and familiar place! The staff is very kind and helpful and provides tips about what to explore in Istanbul. Big Orange is located close to the old town: Blue Mosq, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and Sultanahmed tramway station are within walking distance (5-10 minutes). Rooms are nice, clean and totally new, as the hotel opened in April 2009. The neighborhood is rather quiet, especially in comparison to the backpacker-crowed Akbiyik Caddesi, which is located nearby. |
