Liked: Antique Hostel is the place to stay in Istanbul. Excellent staff there, very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. For example, there was a Champion's League football match in Istanbul the night I arrived and they helped me get a ticket and go with some other hostelers from the area!

Liked: This hostel was fantastic! The place was clean, safe, in an amazing location, breakfast was included and they were able to book tickets to shows and airport transfers for us. Plus, it was very reasonably priced and the staff were great. Highly recommended.

Liked: Antique Hostel was is a great location as it is on the door step of the Blue Mosque and Aya Sophia. The staff are friendly and helpful and always seemed to be smiling.

Liked: I really recommend this hostel, very very nice places to know Istambul, very very good and friendly staff, so much cleanest! this is the best place to live in Istambul.

Liked: Ideal tourist location right next to the blue mosque and very close to the Hagia Sophia and the Topkapi Palace. Very friendly staff; it is run by Turkish owners and not by foreigners. Just like all the other hostels in this tourist area, however, the house is rather small and the rooms consequently rather narrow and crammed. Has air-condition. No real common room apart from the top-floor terrace (no consumption of one's own food and beverages there - it is the same in all the other hostels in this area) - N.B.: Avoid dining in this tourist area: the restaurants are overprized and serve not authentic Turkish food. Very many touts in the adjoining streets.

Liked: It was perfectly located to see the main tourist attractions like Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar among others. But the neighbourhood is very quiet at night and the people seem to go out in Taksim which isn't far but its something to consider.
