Liked: The location was very convenient and had easy access to the tram service, restaurants, shops and historical sites. The security was excellent! Perhaps the only thing I would suggest is that guests should be told at outset that clean towels are NOT provided on a daily basis and that room service is ONLY provided every four or five days. If these things are made clear from the very beginning, guests would come with their own towel(s) and be prepared to handle their own domestic chores in the room itself. As my stay was 11 days, I needed clean towels and room service more regularly than every four or five days. Otherwise, I think the hostel was just simply the best. And the receptionist and all others, especially a guy called Mehmet, was just superb! I would definitely come here again, if I were to return. There is no doubt in my mind that I will inform my colleagues of this particular property.Jason M Bundrage (American tourist by way of Oman)

Liked: Nice roof-lounge for breakfast and tea-time with wonderful view over istanbul and bospurus. Perfectly situated between the sights of oldtown Sultanahmet, central-ferry-terminal Eminönü and European railway-station Sirkeci. Places to eat and drink/smoke shisha just a few steps away. I stayed my whole week in Istanbul there.

Liked: Completely new and clean. Nice rooms. Very friendly staff (and guests!) Wonderful breakfast/common room on top floor with nice view of Istanbul. Great location. Frankly, this is as close to perfect as hostels get, especially in a gigantic city like Istanbul. And let me repeat - the staff could not have been more genuinely friendly...

Liked: great location, the guys who run it are very nice. it was VERY LOUD at night though (on a busy traffic street) and make sure you look at a map when walking from the tram- the directions are not good and streets not labeled well...

Liked: The owner Can and Mehmed ?s absolutely fr?endly and helpful. They made you feel l?ke home. The Terrace V?ew ?s absolutely br?ll?ant. The room and to?let ?s spotless clean. The shower ?s strong and theres hot water supply for 24 hours. A very good deal overall and ? am really glad that I had made the r?ght cho?ce .

Liked: This place is in a great location and has everything you need. It's very easy to get to from the airport via the tram. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone going to Istanbul.

Liked: The location was close to public transportation and many sightseeing areas. The hostel was clean, my room was large enough, and it was easy to meet other travelers. It was also very convenient that there was free internet and the computers were almost always available to use. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Liked: We do not think you could find a better hostel. It was pretty much brand new, clean, tidy, great location for all the sights. In addition to this, the staff (Jon and Mehmet) were exceptionally helpful and went out of their way to ensure that not just our time in Istanbul was great, but that our entire 10 day trip around Turkey went to plan (they even called the hostel we stayed at a few days later to make sure we were being looked after and everything was going to plan). Highly Reccomended Hostel.

Liked: This place was pretty much what you would expect from a budget hostel. The rooms were very basic but quite large and reasonably clean. You won't miss much by skipping breakfast.

Liked: I really like the fact this hostel was so close to all the major sites i wanted to visit, if your planning on visiting istanbul then staying in the old town is the only way to go and this hostel is perfect. The owners are really helpful and friendlt, Mehmet was really nice and showed me the local area and we even shared a shisha pipe! Make sure you check out "Miami Street"...overall the hostel was in a great location, clean, friendly and perfect for someone wanting to exlpore istanbul on foot!!All the best guys!!
