30 September 2009	Customer review there's an old building and a new one. we were lucky and could stay in the new part, which is very nice. about the old one i'm not so sure. but for doublerooms the price was almost unbeatable.. the rooftop-terasse is great for breakfast, the manager very friendly and helpfull. bathroom not so clean, unfortunately.	82%

30 August 2009	Adriana Elena Stoican I particularly liked Mr. Omar, the old man that welcome us at the reception. He is very friendly and always smiling and willing to help. The place has a roof top covered terrace that offers a wonderful view of the sea and two mosques.	85%

29 July 2009	Fabiano Nino Quagliaroli The Budget Hostel is a very cosy accomodation and the staff is very hospitable. The rooms are nice and clean. The terrace offers you a picturesque view on the sea, the mosques and roofs in Sultanahmet. We want to thank a lot Omar – the receptionist - for his friendly way. Though he speaks little English, he is able to understand every enquiry . Many thanks to Gulya – the girl preparing breakfast and tiding up rooms - for her suggestions and help in everything. We stayed very well and hope to go back there when in Istanbul.	97%

17 June 2009	Sarah Lux The staff are so helpful, friendly and generous - probably the best staff we've had on our whole four month trip. On our first night when we didn't know where to go for dinner, one of the staff walked us twenty minutes from the hostel to show us a good place; and they cooked us a Turkish dinner one night on the house even though its not included in the room price. Location is perfect - right near the Blue Mosque and the other big sights. The rooms are small and pretty spartan but if you don't mind that, this is a great place to stay.	100%

10 June 2009	Pierre Guyon Budget Istanbul Hostel is a stair, a room and a roof. First, that's what we were thinking. Unexciting ? Not at all ! Day after day, the hostel became AWESOME ! The old man who didn't speak a word of english was always here to open the door and make our stay wonderful. Throughout days, coulours, joy and harmony made the hostel so human... 24 April 2009	Customer review We stayed here for two months. The rooms are very small and the hot water can be irregular. The people you'll meet here are very nice and the bathrooms are kept very clean. Overall it's a good deal for the price.	90%

18 April 2009	Customer review The hostel was great and I would highly recommend it. The location is excellent...just ten minutes walking to the Hippodome, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque. The rooms and bathrooms are nice...the terrace on the roof is cool and has a great view of the water. The best part of the place, however, is Yusuf, the owner. He is always around and happy to help in any way. He was happy to show us around town. He knows Istanbul very well and it seems that everyone in Istanbul knows him.	100%
