Customer reviewGreat people, so friendly and a really chilled place - close enough to all the action and far enough away from the partying so you get a good nights sleep! |

Kate MarshRashid the owner was amazing - very helpful and even taught us some card games. While the rooms were quite small and it is not the flashest hostel this place has a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We would recommend this hostel to others! |

Mario ZerbinI really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, though some of them hardly spoke english. yet it was fun with em. ^^ facilities were simple but remember it's a low price! it couldn't be better located. next to blue mosque/aya sofia and still in a quiet corner. the latter was important to me. |

Customer reviewGreat location and facilities. Everything was good on the cleanliness but then when packing up we found some "interesting" creatures in our room! There's a free laptop with internet you can borrow upstairs on the veranda and the staff are really really *really* helpful and friendly. One problem - the directions were not very good for us (we were coming by car). The hostel is NOT near the Uskadar or Kadikoy regions like the instructions pointed at "take the ferry to Uskudar or Kad?koy" - in fact, these are on the opposite side so I suspect the instructions should be "take the ferry FROM ..." Also, the "just ask for the blue mosque" didn't work. I asked in several big chain hotels and passers by and no-one knew what I was talking about. Take the names "Sultanahmet" or "Tapu ve Kadasro Bolge Mud" or ask for the Four Seasons Hotel to try and get you into the right area. Then it's just down a little back street behind the Blue Mosque. |

Customer reviewThe location is great and brealfast very good. The price is good if you are on a budget although I wouldn't recommend the dorm during the summer, it was very hot and cramped and there was no air con when we were there. I rated the staff low as we were mistakenly woken early early moring for an airport shuttle that was not for us, there was no apology and we felt it was handled badly. I mean, no one likes to be woken at 6am in a shouty panic wehn you don't have a plane to catch. |

?an WilliamsGood value, nice old house, quiet location (though cobbled streets made the noise from the little traffic which passed rather loud), helpful and friendly staff, shared loos and bathroom rather poor, but still good value for the money. |

Natarsha JazepczykI absolutely adored my stay here. Without a doubt the best genuine hospitality from the managers (Carmeil & William) and the owner (Omar) that I have ever encountered. They do everything possible to make your stay as comfortable as possible. And for a small price you will have the best meal you will ever have in Turkey - actually the best home cooked meal I have had in Europe! Yummo! I extended my stay here, definately value for money. |
