Liked: The family that runs this place is amazing. They are helpful suggesting things to do, what to see and the best place to invest your money to make it work in Turkey for you. Oh and the breakfast is unreal. No bland toast here... Just boiled eggs, olives, cheese, tomatoes, cereal, fresh baked buns, cucumber, homemade jam and yougert to dazzel you every morning. Topped off with an ocean side view (we even saw some dolphins one morning!) this is a morning starter that can't be beat. Although under the name of a guesthouse, it has the value of a hostel and the quality of a family home all rolled into one.

Liked: Location is excellent and is within easy walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Underground Cistern, St Sophia. the palace and other Sultanahmet attraction. Easy but longer walk to the quay for river cruises. The owners are extremely frendly and helpful. They did everything they could to make our stay a pleasant experience

Liked: Location,excellent cleanliness,use of kitchen facilities to make drinks as required , very friendly family always did their best to help,english very good It is not a hostel more a guest house suitable for mature couples/friends but good atmosphere for chatting/sharing experiences.

Liked: The location is amazing, right at the heart of the most beautiful part of the city with all the main historic sights right on your doorstep. The terrace is a great place to chill out and have a chat with other people and the view is spectacular - no picture can do it justice. The breakfast is really nice, a good buffet selection. There is a lovely family atmosphere and you feel really welcome. I would definately recommend this hostel!

Liked: The family that runs the place is very nice and helpful. They gave me the impression of not staying at a sterile hotel, but at a caring relative's home. Istanbul's main historical sites are a brief walk away. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. It is an excellent value.

Liked: The staff was amazing. It is very close to restaurants, bars and sights. Great rooftop view overlooking the Marmara sea.

Liked: Location and cost.Wouldnt necessarily rate it over staying at the more 'backpackers' style hostel as both had private rooms and it wasnt anything more.
