Liked: Very nice place! Friendly and very helpful staff. Good value for money. Nice breakfast.Good location for sightseeing. Not a party place - but if you're not looking for that the place is exellent in all other aspects. Thumbs up!

Liked: Clean, quiet, good location. They were supposed to pick us up at the airport late in th evening and they did even though our flight was delayed."Fun place to meet people and party" is a weird question. I would hate if it was a "Party place" .. I was looking for a quiet place to sleep, which it was! Thanks!

Liked: it is a small and personal guesthouse hidden behind the touristy street. a quiet place to stay, personal, individual and run by a turkish family. I loved the roof terrasse... and having the turkish breakfast on the top with view on the marmara sea.

Liked: This bed and breakfast is amazing. It's been over a year since I went and I still think about it all the time. The rooms were very cute, and the breakfast on the rooftop terrace is a wonderful experience. It's within walking distance of many of the main attractions. They even offer a shuttle to pick up from the airport (even at 2 am!)

Liked: This was a lovely hostel i would really recommend. It is run by a very friendly mother and daughter who recommended us some great things to do in Istanbul, the turkish breakfast on the terrace overlooking the bosphorus is also a highlight! The location is great, the rooms and bathrooms very clean and the service and character very good!

Liked: This hostel is ideally located in the Sultanahmet area of Turkey, very close to the Blue Mosque and attractions. Elif, the lady who runs the hostel is very nice and helpful. This is not the place to stay if you're looking for a party hostel, but if you want somewhere a bit quiet, clean, safe and romantic, Marmara Guesthouse is ideal. Beautifully decorated too with Turkish rugs and wallhangings as well.

Liked: Location! On a quiet street, but just next to the street with all the restaurants in the hotel part of the area, so you can go out in the evening for dinner just nearby. Family run, family feel, just perfectly quaint. Ask for their coffee! Best I had on my trip!

Liked: great location, just behind the blue mosque plus close to some great restaurants. Elif who runs the hostel for her family is very helpful and super friendly. the hostel is awesome, clean and the roof top terrace has a great view over the marmara sea, i recommend having an ice cold beer up there after a long hot day sightseeing.

Liked: Great location, clean, friendly and family run. It could be noisy at night as the guesthouse is surrounded by rooftop cafes. Also, it would be nice to have a TV somewhere in the hostel.
