Liked: We stayed here last May and really enjoyed everything Marmara had to offer, so didn't hesitate to book again this year. The location is perfect, the people are wonderful - and the rooftop terrace on a warm,fine day is just amazing!!

Liked: The location of Marmara Guesthouse is just fantastic. Rooms are clean and tidy. Very quiet place, in a positive way. Lovely and very helpful staff and most of all the roof terrace where you can have breakfast or simply relax after a busy day!Fully recommend! Kamila

Liked: The guest house is in a superb location, a short walk from Aya Sofia, Topkapi Palace and the Blue Mosque. The reception staff, Elif Aytekin and her cousin, Esin Sengul, speak excellent English and are extremely pleasant and helpful.In good weather, breakfast can be eaten on an open air rooftop terrace, with partial views over the Sea of Marmara.

Liked: Our family of four took two rooms here for a week, and had a great time. The staff are friendly, the location is ideal, and the rooftop terrace breakfast is a star feature.

Liked: Very well situated. Clean and quite. Near a street with many restaurants, a food accomodation and stores. On the terrace a nice view on Marmara sea. All the family is so gentle and helpful we can have many informations. I have appreciated free Internet too and breakfast at 8 o'clook. I enjoyed it and recommend it at anyone.

Liked: Very friendly staff and shuttle to and from the Airport was convenient. Gorgeous view of the Marmara from the roof patio on one side and the other side has a great view of the city!!!

Liked: The friendliness of the staff and the coziness of the place. It is perfectly located with walking distance from the main places of istanbul. The easy access to some of very good restaurants right in the lane behind the guest house is also very cool!

Liked: The Guesthouse is situated closely to all the monuments and tourist attractions which was handy as you could walk to all of them. Sitting up on the roof terrace eating breakfast with the stunning views of the Marmara sea on a beautiful day was one of the highlights of my trip. It should also be noted that if you are planning to book a room with shared facilities, the rooms are on the small side, however, the rooms with an ensuite are a good size. The hotel was clean but I was abit wary about using the shared bathroom at times! The daughter was very friendly and helpful and spoke good English and made us feel very welcomed. Overall, the guesthouse was nice and we had a lovely time, Istanbul is a fantastic place to visit! :)

Liked: The family that run the guesthouse were very helpful and mindful of their guests ,the breakfasts,especially the homemade jams were super and plentiful,a very good start to the long day ahead getting to see the fascinating and friendly city of Istanbul.We would go there again and certainly recommend it to others!!

Liked: The hostel was very clean and well situated. I didn't want to be with loads of hyper teenagers and this place was ideal because it's small and the customers tend to be couples or families. The staff were friendly and helpful, and yes, the jam is fantastic.
