Liked: The place.

Disliked: Shared bathroom in the upper floor. we (I and my friend) were in the second floor, but we had to go to the upper.

Liked: The place was cheap, first and foremost. It was relatively clean and it had the basics like a bed, a bathroom, a spray nozzle for a shower and even a washing machine for laundry.

Disliked: The staff at check-in were rather impatient and irate and generally rude. The shower was a spray nozzle instead of an overhead nozzle and was in the same room without any dividers, tub, or anything to contain the water as the toilet and I think that that may not be entirely sanitary. The floors were poorly maintained and you could easily trip over the pipes or on the stairs if you came back drunk from the surrounding clubs.

Disliked: No showerhead in one of 3 bathes for the hole hostel. One toilette was not closeable..

Liked: Location

Disliked: It was pretty dirty, with very few toilets and showers, WiFi only in the ground floor and besides our room was on the fifth floor with no furniture.

Liked: It was my second time in ChillOut Hostel, and that was still very nice time spend there. Stuff is extremely sympathetic.

Liked: This hostel is in a really good area. Just off the main shopping street and where the locals are. Staff were nice.

Disliked: The room wasnt very good. when i opened the door it got about half way then hit the edge of a bunk bed. not much space. the showers were kind of claustrophobic. i arrived at 11am ready to check in but couldnt check in till 4 because the room hadnt been cleaned.

Liked: Cosy livingroom.

Disliked: Chaotic anonymous atmosphere. Rooms are very small and dark.

Liked: The situation of the hotel is ideal for both visiting old istanbul and going out in the evening

Disliked: the hotel faces a very very noisy club (Beyzade) it is thus very difficult to sleep even when the windows are closed.

Liked: Location for the price is unbeatable. Everything else for the price is unremarkable.

Disliked: No breakfast, floors were dirty, and we expected to have a private bathroom and didn't.

Liked: The double I booked was about as basic as they come, just a bed and nothing else; no fan, not even a trashcan. Ended up leaving after 1 night to sleep in a real hotel with much better facilities for just 5 euro more which was worth it. This place is a terrible value for the cost.
