Nice and very friendly staff! Uncomplicated place to stay, free access to WLAN at ground and 1st floor plus one internet PC in the cafe.

It really is not too bad if you are looking for cheap accomodation outside of Sultanhamet. Rooms are clean enough, staff is fine and 5 seconds out the door and you are on Istiklal St. However, the atmosphere is a little gloomier than most places and if you are intolerant to cigarette smoke, you will not want to hang around here. People smoke a bunch in Turkey and Chillout Hostel is most definetly a proof of it.
