Liked: great location,definitely great value for money paid,and because at the end it was just for of us ,cheaper price and different rooms were offered=very flexible with customers,very basic furnished but clean,the only thing i miss were towels,my experience is very good and if i come back to istanbul,cordial house hostel would be first place i'll look for to stay

Liked: Location is great, very close to everything from St. Sofia, Kapali Carsi to University, and even the direct tram line to Taxim. Staff was especially great and helpful even though we arrived in the middle of the night. They managed to help us park the car right beneath our room, and helped us with parking fees. Regarding security - i left my laptop and phone and camera in the room and everything was always in its place. Two things only bothered me - absence of the kitchen (not the dining room which is large) and no garden (and that is a direct hit coz i'm a smoker). Apart from that everything was great.

Liked: All in all, pretty much as described. The location is very good and it is close to The Blue Mosque, Aya Sofya etc and only a 15 min walk to the Galata Bridge.

Liked: If you are simply looking for a comfortable, central place to stay, Cordial House does the job, but nothing more. The staff don't take any interest in their guests. The bar area lacks atmosphere and barely gets used by guests. drinks are expensive. This is probably because its a hostel as well as a hostel, so there is a wider age range of guests and many are not there particularly to socialise. The luggage room is not secure, although small lockers are available on request but often have luggage stacked infront of them, so access is difficult.

Liked: Ein akzeptables Hostel zum guten Preis. Der Ausblick auf die 5m entfernte Gitterwand ist nur mäßig romantisch. Die Lage ist für Touris gut, das Geräuschniveau für Istanbul ok (unser Zimmer lag zum hinterhof). Für Leute, die einfach nur ein Bett suchen insgesamt in ordnung.

Liked: nice rooms, small but clean and bright. They were really quiet too which is great considering how close to everything it is. I heard one of the staff being really rude to another guest but they were always polite to me. Overall a fairly pleasant stay.

Liked: Very close to tourist attractions. Easy to get to from tram (get off at Cemberlitas, then walk down the street that has T-Shop at the top). Clean rooms. Helpful staff. Note that internet is charged at 2 lira per hour.

Liked: Location is very good. It could be a bit of a pig to find first time.Men's showers on the third floor were all broken - you had to hold the head in your hand.There are free, secure safe-deposit boxes which is good.Breakfast is free but limited to bread, cheese and a little fruit.There's nothing really wrong with the place, it's just not exceptional either.

Liked: k aThe hostel's location is magnificent: just a five minutes walk away from Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet-Mosque, Topkapi-Palace and Grand Bazar to name just a few sights in the surrounding area. The staff helps you whenever you have questions. I hasd a good time staying in Cordial House!
