staff were extraordinarily friendly & helpful, location couldn't be better, breakfasts great. we were a family with 15 yr old & 10 yr old - informality of Cordial really suited up. People of all ages were staying during our stay. highly recomend it!

They created a really nice atmosphere (warm colours of the walls en with ligths), the location of this hostel is really perfect, close to a lot of touristic sightseeings. There's also a tramstation in front of the hostel.

i was robbed and admitted to hospital in istanbul and the hostel owner, Tugrul, came and vistied me every day. let me call my parent in australia on his mobile phone and was so helpful and comforting.
When i got out of hospital he put me in a private room ( i had been in a dorm) and gave me free accomadation and food each day untill i could get a new passport and credit card.
when i did get my new credit card he would not accept payment for the nights i had been there. this was such a wonderful gesture, it really helped me to get over the robbery ( which was by another tourest id like to point out, the turks are lovley) and i will never foget his genorosity and genuen concern for my safety.
i can not reccomend highly enough. if you want to stay with someone who will treat you like family, stay here.

the staff alone made the stay worthwhile, very friendly and always were willing to help you if you needed it. The dorms were comfortable and everything was very clean

The staff was SOOO friendly and helpful, they had a funny dog sleeping at the reception, the walls were painted in green or pink and it was beautiful. I think they hire only good people there...
