Liked: Cordial House is a very nice hostel, location is the best I can say, very close to all main sights such as Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia etc.. the rooms and bathrooms are very clean, staff friendly, the hostel has nice commen rooms as well. For the price I paid I can say it is one of the best hostels I have stayed in.

Disliked: nothing :)

Liked: I like it that it is near the Cemberlitas tram station, and that is relatively cheap at 8 euros. Also, there was hot water and sufficient showers. There was also free internet and wifi, which was a good plus. Nearby there are 2 discount supermarkets, so you can buy cheap food and drinks and snacks. There was also a lift.

Disliked: The baggage room was not locked, and hence it is quite unsafe to leave your things there because anyone can come and take things.

Liked: Cheap, excellent location - right near the grand bazaar. Good facilities. We had to pay for breakfast - but being in the heart of the old town in istanbul, why eat in the Hostel, when you can go out and savour the local delights?

Liked: The staffs were helpful

Disliked: Unexected room relocation, when I booked for a 6 bed dorm, I expect to stay in a 6 bed dorm for 3 nights. Not to be told to relocate to another room the next day, its mean I have stay in the hostel till the room is ready the next morning..

Liked: excellent location, best possible :) even if you stay only for 2 days you will manage to see most of the sights (thanks to location)! Area close to sights, restaurants and bars. Ideal for short stay. Use metro to get there very easy! and very cheap! Really you can get lost! On the way back hostel offers bus transfer for 10TL. I will be back there :)

Liked: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Toilets were very clean too. Excellent heating in rooms.

Disliked: Lack of a tv in the dorms and there was a strange odour outside our room.

Disliked: it was frezing cold outside and the windows were all the time opened in the bathrooms so cold showers :( but everything else was good !

Liked: Inexpensive, 24hr reception, great location in central Istanbul

Disliked: Noise from the street and hallway easily heard (so bring earplugs, if this might bother you). Too few computers (so why not bring your own?)

Liked: The hotel is located at walking distance from major sites,It has a hip lounge and bar where people get together. They have private rooms and shared rooms so it can accommodate budget travelers of all kinds. It is great value for your money.The staff was always helpful and very nice.

Disliked: No wifi (in rooms). You have to go to the lounge forthat which is not that bad because it forces you to mingle. The sheets are/were not changed every day.

Liked: Cheap internet, also wifi is avaliable. Location, transport location. Price.

Disliked: To noisy at night. Sound goes not only from others visitors, also from outside.

Liked: The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Central position and the very reasonably priced Shuttle Bus service took the hassle out of getting to and from the Sahiba airport. Brilliant.

Disliked: Nothing really. But then I never look for problems.

Liked: Especially I like localization. Secondly, prices are amazing good.

Disliked: One disadvantage is that we couldn;t get additinal blankets (was a little bit cold), abyway was GREAT!
