Liked: Ahmet, the guy who runs the place, is a great guy and very chill. Beds are comfortable, rooms are nice and clean, and bathrooms on almost every floor. GREAT location.

Disliked: One day the water didn't work for a while. The problem was fixed promptly, though, so it wasn't a big deal.

Liked: This hostel is great!! awesome location jus off istiklal st.. great rooms sizes, very comfy new beds, VERY CLEAN, ahmed is a great and friendly host!! massive secure lockers, free wifi, bar next door (two building next to each other).. definitely recommended for those into nightlife, clubbing, bars, and taksim.. and have done the sultanahmet sites

Disliked: nothing really - it rained one day. i blame the hostel!!! :P

Liked: I like that Chambers of the Boheme is located right in the beginning of Istiglal Caddesi, which is very close to Taksim square - so there was no need to have busses or metro to get to the most interesting sight seeing points. The bathroom always has cold/hot water. The room is clean. The breakfast is nice. The personal is helpful. And of course, there's wi fi access on the first floor.

Disliked: It was noisy at nights, because of the cafes which are just right below of the hostel. And it was kinda hard to go upstairs to the last floor.

Liked: Tourists always end up or looking to stay in sultanahmet understandbly, but Taksim is where the nightlife is at ... it is the shopping, clubbing, and demonstration centre of istanbul. It is great. THIS HOSTEL WAS AWESOME THOUGH. Great, friendly staff- Ahmed is always trying his best to help people out. THE BEDS ARE FANTASTIC. Wooden frames, thick strong mattresses so v easy to sleep- airconditioned with a remote..what else. ensuite dorms and SHOWERS ARE KEPT CONSTANTLY CLEAN AND NEAT! Definitely recommended!!

Disliked: Falling down the stairs cus i was drunk :( bad times lol, and being stupid enough to drop my laptop and break it- but one can't blame the hostel for that lol :P

Liked: Pretty good hostel with clean rooms and friendly service. Great location in Istanbul if you want to be right in the center of things. Also, the staff are especially helpful and will go out of their way to make your stay pleasant

Disliked: Unfortunately, there really is no apparent commons room where travellers feel comfortable congregating and meeting each other. Thus, it is not the best hostel if you want to interact with the other guests. Plus, the rooms tend to be quite loud until at least 1:00-2:00 A.M. due to the fact that they are right up against the bars and restaurants outside

Liked: Hostel is in a great location up near Taksim Square. Close to lots of bars and restaurants and really safe to walk around late at night.. Owner is lovely and cheerful and rooms very spacious.

Disliked: Can be a bit noisy at night and not all the rooms have air con.

Liked: i really liked my stay9ing at chambers of the boheme, my bed was really confortable the staff was super friendly and helpful breakfast was good there was air conditioning in the room * which is rare to find in turkey* .The location also is really great its easy to travel around the metro is 2 minutes away/

Disliked: It didnt really bother me but the music at night * taksim square is really animated*
