Liked: Great Location, I felt like I'm home, Great atmosphere, Staff is very friendly and the rooms are nice. I definitely recommend it look forward to stay there during my next visit. Ahmed, the owner of the place is very kind, and helpful gentle man and he really cares about the guests.

Disliked: It's actually not about the property, however, make sure you don't eave any of your valuables on your bed. There is an spacious locker that you can use. Unfortunately, I lost my hard disk drive and there is no one to blame other than me.

Liked: Good location, only a bit noisy at night due to the many pubs around, but you go there to have fun bot to sleep! After 2am all is quiet and you can peacefully sleep.

Liked: Its location was great! The street it is located on is a very popular street, and there is plenty to do in the area.

Disliked: Our shower leaked a bit and the sink in the bathroom is very small, but these are only small issues.

Liked: I liked the bohemian character of the rooms, that the hostel is located absolutely in the center of the hotspot beyoglu- for having diner, drinks, life music and dance we didn`t even have to leave our street!!!- but what i liked most was the owner of the place. Ahmed (we called him babba) was so taking care of us girls, organised whatever we needed, always had an ear and a cup of chai for us and is the heartliest, friendliest and funniest host we ever stayed with! Go there!!

Liked: This must be, hands down, the best hostel I’ve ever been to! You get nice rooms and great atmosphere (and a little breakfast in addition) for a more than reasonable price. The location is unbeatable, you’re right in the middle of everything. Ahmet, the owner, has a challenging sense of humour but a heart of gold, he’s always there for you if you need something. Definitely recommended, especially for young and outgoing people!

Liked: We were very kindly offered free accommodation and breakfast as we arrived very early the first morning. The decoration throughout the hostel creates a wonderful atmosphere which I would recommend to all types of travelers!

Liked: Feels like home!! Great athmosphere in the best location ever to make the most of Istiklal Caddesi! Staff is very welcoming and the rooms are very comfy. I definitely recommend it and won't hesitate to rebook for my next visit to Istanbul.

Liked: THE BEST HOSTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN. I am happy to have found a clean and well maintained hostel (should I stay Hotel, for it feels like being in one despite the fact you are sharing the bedroom with fellow travellers).Ahmet smilingly welcomes you to his hostel and is always helpful when it comes to tips about the city. Should you like to venture out of the city for a day or two, he is the man you need. I would personally recommend the day trip to Gallipoli.I would have many things to tell you about the place but I would let you discover this precious gem located in the liveliest part of Istanbul.

Liked: Breakfast was okay, but most of the staff don't speak any English and the rooms are tiny, and without air-con (+ the good location= a really noisy street at night).

Disliked: The owner was careless (almost charged my friend's room to my credit card!), intolerant (said that it was a shame to share a bed if not married) and overall not very interested in his guests (also booked 7people to a 6-bed dorm, so one person had to move all his things in the middle of the evening). The stairs were a pain in the ass and the room was dark and hot.

Liked: This was the best hostel ever!!! The hostel has a bohemian heart and due to the antique furnishing you often forget that you are in a hostel and not a hotel. The owner was the friendliest man we`ve met in Istanbul, almost always available and willing to give us directions about everything we wanted to know and also giving us advice we didn`t even know we needed (but we did!)!Location is fenomenal for all who are young or young at heart, and wish to be at the very center of lively Istanbul! We stayed there three nights and during two of those nights there was live music to be played outside in the nearby (I`m not jokeing about "nearby"...just 10-30meters away) bars. We had the best time, meeting young travelers from Australia, New Zealand, Austria, Maroco,... Will come back to Istanbul for sure, definitely again to this Hostel!

Liked: Very nice place and in the best location. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: I just think they can keep the toilets more clean. The only bad thing is there is not exacly a place where you can meet and talk with the other guests. But I recommend!

Liked: Ive been to Istanbul many times and this is my favourite hostel in the area. Ahmet always give you a warm welcome and takes care of his guests like his children, ask and he will provide! The hostel has character and comfort unlike a lot of hostels and its on a very colourful and authentic street in the area, with bars, shops, metro walking distance. A fantastic place to stay in an amazing part of the city.
