Liked: DONT STAY HERE ITS TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!

Disliked: EVERYTHING! The airport transfers never turn up, the bathrooms are dirty and FULL of mould and absolutly NO customer service.

Liked: One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. Staff were incredibly friendly and the Roof Bar was great for meeting new people especially if traveling alone. Also by far the most comfy beds I have stayed in.

Liked: Very kind hostel a superb ambiance and a great location near the most famous blue mosque and the entertainment district. We had wonderful stay at Metropolis hostel.

Liked: Location is absolutely fabulous, very central, easy to get to everything by walking. Room and bathroom are spotless.

Liked: Very easy to get to, location is good and the staff are friendly.

Disliked: The door of the 'lockable secure cupboard' had fallen off and was on the floor. Surprised the place got voted best atmosphere.

Liked: Hostel was clean, and the location is perfect, a couple of minutes walk from the main sights of Sultanahmet. The roof bar offers spectacular views at night and is a great place to get to know fellow travellers. Free Wifi connection was fast and reliable.

Disliked: The hostel is hard to find, and directions are not provided so make sure you print out a map. The dorm room was a little cramped and the bunk beds felt very unstable. After the rooftop bar shut at midnight there was no common area. It also seemed very quiet during my stay. I was left confused by the high rating this hostel received.

Liked: It was in a great location. The restaurant food was great.

Disliked: I didn't like how they threw out my friends plastic bag that was hanging at the end of the bag, which had the brand new netbook box. This wasn't rubbish. There should be a policy where they only through away things in the room bin. Also the rooms were a bit to cramped.

Liked: The location is very very good, the area is fantastic! The staff were helpful in answering questions.

Disliked: Things were falling apart, for example i opened the door to the wardrobe and the drawer and bottom cupboard door fell off, the lamps above the bed were falling out of the wall. The place is a little old and tired but if your on a tight budget it does the job.

Liked: fab hostel and roof bar. So many fun nights. Bbq and belly danicing nights were amazing. loved our stay with metropolis hostel.
