Liked: Stayed in a beautiful and clean room overlooking the Bosphorus! Staff was readily available to answer all questions. Great stay in a wonderful city!

Liked: We stayed here on 2 separate occasions within a week. The first room was really clean and the showers have awesome water pressure and heat! But the second room really stank...we either were near the sewage pipes or something in the room was dead. All on all though we would recommend this hostel!

Liked: Great hostel with beautiful view of the city..Clean nice room, fresh sheets and with panramic view.Free breakfast at metropolis cafe was awesome..Location could not be better.it was so easy to reach everywhere around the city and staff were so helpful ( gave us lots information about city and history).. Do not forget to have a dinner in their restaurant,is the best one in the street.

Liked: The Metropolis Hostel was one of the three best hostels we stayed at through Turkey, India, Portugal, and Nepal. The brothers were extremely helpful and friendly...but didn't overdo it like other people trying to sell you a service. We stayed in both a Private Room w/ Shared Bath, a Private Room Ensuite. Both were excellent. Bathrooms were clean, sheets were clean, the view outside our window was great. Overall, everything about this hostel is what other hostels should hold their standard to.

Liked: very good central location. staff is good and helpfull and also very good breakfast at metropolis restaurnat and also good meals. the hostel is very clean and free internet was bonus. there is very nice panaromic sea view from common room

Liked: It had small, but cozy rooms and helpful staff. It was quiite hard to find based on the directions given, but otherwise well-located as far as the sights are concerned. The breakfast was great, and services (such as an airport shuttle) made it a very convenient choice!

Liked: We visted this hostel in Dec 08 during winter and the outside temperature during the day was 3 degrees. We appreciated the hot showers and heating. The breakfast at the cafe was good and the service and the friendliness of the cafe staff was appreciated. The double room that we booked was very basic but clean. The hostel staff did not go out of their way to deliver good customer service.

Liked: METROPOLIS HOSTEL is the BEST one I have ever been. the location is fantastic. very central. close to all main sightseeing ( you can walk to anyone of them) there are lots of hostels, restaurant, cafes and bars. the breakfast they serve is great and full. also they serve delicious traditional turkish food. bathroo was the cleanest one ever and always had hot water with really good water presure.free internet is at very nice cozy common room with stunning sea view where you can watch Asia while you are sitting at europe. staff is also very friendly and helpfull in any way. great hospitality. thanks
