Liked: Location is ideal for sights and it is a great value for money. Free lockers, internet and luggage storage place. Would stay here again.

Liked: Excellent rooms, location and hostel. Great staff who would help you with your guestion. Free breakfast served by lovely ladies on the roof.

Liked: This was my first trip to Turkey in my Europe trip and also my last destination before going home. I found that staying in this hostel become my vacation excellent and so relaxing especially when having breakfast on rooftop with the Bosphorus view. The bathroom is always cleaned up every day, good breakfast , good view, nice and very helpfull staffs.

Disliked: The room is quite small for 8 people and you must have your own lock for the 'safety box' that is made from wooden box. You can not get internet signal in your room and on the roof top. It will be excellent if we could access the Wi-Fi while seeing the Bosphorus Straight on the roof top. I was there for 5 nights, the breakfast is good but it will be boring if you eat the same food every day for breakfast, so I suggest that the hostel make variation for the breakfast menu

Liked: Highly recommended hostel for everyone visiting istanbul. lt has a great location to all sights. lt has an amazing roof bar where breakfast is served. Beautiful views. Excellent stay.

Liked: Absolutely one of the best one l have stayed. Nice rooms and bathrooms with clean linen and towels. Free breakfast is quite good one for hostel price. Overall a great place.

Liked: This was the best accomodation!Stunnig views from roof bar. We have been travelling through europe for 2 months and this is the best place we stayed. Super clean, great bathroom, really close to bars, shops in sultanahmet and about a 5 minute walk to the blue mosque, hagia sofia etc. The staff were awesome both at metropolis hostel and restaurnat.

Liked: l really enjoyed my stay at metropolis hostel. Quite clean rooms and bathrooms, great staff , excellent location to see the sights and party. Plenty of restaurant , bars and cafes around. Very cool roof bar to chill and lovely people to meet. Great place to stay!!!

Liked: Amazing hostel to stay in istanbul. Great roof bar and facilities. Ladies keep hostel very clean. Showers are great and you get a great stay for what you paying for.

Liked: Had an excellent stay at Metropolis hostel - staff are exceptionally friendly and very hospitible at both hostel and restaurant around corner . Great little roof top bar with a nice atmosphere. Not that loud actually if you are worried as bar is seperate and they close at midnight or 1 am sometimes. Location is really good for all the cultural stuff. Lots of good tips about city and gonig out. The ferry ride they recommend to Asian side was great and we had a nice lunch at çiya sofrasi. Would be happy to stay again and highly recommend this hostel.

Liked: Our decision to stay at the metropolis hostel was one of the best decisions we've ever made. The staff made us incredibly welcome and comfortable, and were extremely accomodating of any requests or queries we had. The room had everything we needed and was clearly thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. Superb location, lots of restaurants, cafes and shops on the doorstep.Also you get 10% discount at the METROPOLIS RESTAURANT which has really really good food and atmosphere. Lots of activities going on at roof bar. Great bbq nights, free shisha parties with following pubcrawl to party district of taksim. One of the staff member was guiding us to make sure we were having good time and safe night. I really recommend this to groups and people on a budget, it's brilliant value.

Liked: Great hostel in Sultanahmet - the old town of Istanbul. Only five minutes walk to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia Mosque. Tram station is also just five minutes away. The staff of the hostel are very friendly and helpful, breakfast is great and you can enjoy it on the roof terrace with nice view over Bosporus. Highly Recommended! Thank you metropolis.

Liked: We loved everything about this hostel. It is in a league of its own. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good - food was fresh and good coffee. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were spacious and very clean. I cannot recommend this hostel highly enough. A great base for exploring a great city!

Liked: Location was good.

Disliked: Been travelling for 7 mths and never been treated like we have here. From the moment we walked in the staff were unfriendly. Our plans changed as they do with travellers and when we asked to drop our 4th night the man behind reception was very rude and hostile in telling us 'no'. He mentioned he doesnt care about us or our plans. We questioned his attitude which ended in threats and verbal abuse directed to us. Despite the fact we paid in full and didnt get a refund we left immediately after only one night. My advice is do not stay here or trust the positive reviews.

Liked: The hostel is located in the old part of Istanbul where all the historical sites are but it is a bit difficult to find. They do a good job of keeping the hostel clean and are helpful in arranging transportation or any guides you might be interested in.

Disliked: The is only one bathroom and two showers per floor which leads to having to wait a bit on some mornings. The spiral staircase is steep and a bit dangerous if you are not careful.

Liked: Really loved this place and people. l met tons of nice people here and l would definetely stay here again when l come to istanbul. lt is a great deal for budget travellers. Very cheap transfer to airport just for 5 euros from front door.

Disliked: Breakfast finish at 10Am, too early especially if you party.

Liked: lovely hostel, lovely stay. The location was really good and it was close to all sights. Staff was friendly and very helpful with our guestions. Free breakfast was decent for a hostel.
