Liked: once they arranged a free transportation to the Turkish bath. rooftop view was not bad. it wasn't dirty at all

Disliked: First of all, do not trust the photos.I do not know about hostels in Istanbul, but in comparison with the other hostels in EU and UK it was rubbish. very narrow corridors, and really dangerous stairs. the room we got was in basement., it was dark and very small. there is not nice atmosphere in hostel, although it was fully booked, during our stay they we have not met even a single person, Wifi was not available in the all levels, specially where we had to stay. they had problem with water, and for one full day we were not able to use toilet and shower. there is not enough plugs in the room (just one for 4 people in a room) Conclusively, I would not recommend this hostel at all.

Liked: What a great hostel to stay. We had really good time/great stay at metropolis. Superb friendly staff and excellent location. oh showers are the best one l have had in hostel. l love it.

Liked: Amazing hostel in excellent location. We loved our stay at metropolis hostel. Superb friendly and smart staff and very clean rooms and showers. All in all great experience.

Liked: Brilliant hostel. From the moment we arrived hostel till we check out WE HAD BEST TIME. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. Roof top view is killing and rooms are very clean. Breakfast was really good too. Thanks alot for having us and for your hospitality

Liked: Metropolis hostel is a great hostel to stay in istanbul. Nice and clean rooms with big lockers, clean showers with hot water and free breakfast. We found staff very friendly and helpful and roof top bar was great place to meet new travelers.

Liked: we had blast time at metropolis hostel. Great atmosphere and we met losts of nice people. great roof bar and cheap beers and waterpipe. All in all it was a great experience.

Liked: lovely hostel in the heart of old town. Great location and great staff. Stunning view from roofbar. Breakfast at metropolis restaurant is really great one for a hostel. They do have very cheap airport transfer and also internet is free .

Liked: This is a wonderful place to stay. The owners are warm and will help you with everything you need - from airport transfers to nightlife advice. It's a place always brimming with cool people and it has a great common area. It's clean and comfortable, definitely a good place to stay.

Disliked: Aside from squeaky doors, nothing at all!

Liked: Metropolis is such a lovely hostel with lots of characters. Staff is superb friendly and helpful and roof top bar is great. Breafast was really good and cheap transfer to airport was great service. l would definetly stay here again if l ever visit istanbul
