Liked: Great location. Really good atmosphere. The staff were really friendly. Overall, I would definately recommend this hostel to any friends or family.

Liked: Very nice place to stay, clean and comfortable. Friendly and relaxed atmoshere, very nice staff. Good breakfast, free wifi in the hostel.

Liked: Location is awesome. Literally 5 min walk to blue mosque and hagia sophia.

Disliked: Really dirty. Cleaning lady will not clean the room if anyone is in it. Water and hair all over bathroom floor. There is no bar or restaurant in the hostel. It is around the block. But you can order stuff and they'll deliver it. Stairs are awful. Just not that friendly, hospitable place. If you're with people and don't care about cleanliness or friendliness this may work. But if your a single traveler who likes a somewhat clean place and enjoys the friendly hostels where it's easy to meet people, then look for something else.

Liked: l really enjoyed my stay with metropolis hostel and would love to stay here again. Great free breakfast and amazing roof bar.

Disliked: they close terrace at midnight.

Liked: Location is really good, close to all the main sights.

Disliked: The staff are not the friendliest of people. The common hello is unheard of and not really felt welcomed. The rooms are small and so are the showers. To be honest i dont know how this place got top rated. No kitchen and not allowed to bring alcohol from outside.

Liked: Metropolis is a great hostel. Nice room and bathroom, good breakfast, great access to computers and the internet. Good value for your money

Liked: We were pleasantly surprised by the standard of facilities and cleanliness, considering the price. The staff were all very friendly and gave us some helpful advice on where to eat in the evenings. I would definitely stay here again.Metropolis Restaurant is the best option.

Liked: The staff were very knowledgeable about the area and were able to tell us loads of great places to go. You should eat at metropolis restaurant for the best food. Plus you get 10% off. lovely place.

Liked: Helpful staff, clean and safe, facilities are great, our rooms were newly painted, free wi-fi, maps and info available, cable tv, bar, and right in the centre of the old town. just two mins to mosques and museums.

Liked: Metropolis is a real fun hostel the staff are excellent. Having a bar in the hostel makes it easy to meet people and the pub crawl is quite good.Excellent breakfast.

Liked: The owners of metropolis hostel were more than willing to give us directions, advice, and book us tours and activities at discounted rates! The staff at the restaurant were amazing!! So friendly and delicious food. I became friends with many of the staff! Dustin (Davrim) is the best! The rooftop bar/lounge had a beautiful view overlooking Asia. The location is unbeatable!! Just minutes away from Saint Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The hostel's neighborhood was cozy with dozens of picturesque cafes, restaurants, and hookah bars lining the street.

Disliked: The rooms were a bit small for the amount of people but it is such an affordable price that this barely bothered me.

Liked: Roof top patio but closed in winter. great breakfast. Staff was kind.

Disliked: Rooms were small. No cooking facilities. Food at restaurant is expensive. The location is close to all the historical sights but it's not really safe for women at night. Hostels around Taskin Square are a better option. The area is safer and less touristy so you won't get haggled as much

Liked: Metropolis is a great hostel to stay. It felt like home from home - very cosy, warm surroundings, very relaxing indeed. Most enjoyable, highly recommendable. Will stay there again, most definately

Liked: This hostel was the best I've ever stayed in! Incredibly cheap, the vibe was great, the other people staying there were awesome and there is nothing I could improve on! This hostel sets the standard roof bar views are the best.
