Liked: Bahaus was a blast! All the people staying their were really friendly, and I had a ton of fun on the roof deck. The faculty was especially cool, and always considerate. Tony was particularly awesome and social. The location of the hostel was great. Near all the sites and fun at night too. Definitely stay here!

Liked: Nice terrace.

Disliked: No Air Conditioning. Dirty blankets without duvet cover. Doors opener are loud. Some beds are dent and uncomfortable. Their bunk ladders are unstable. Tiny shower and stinky bathrooms...they even post signs to ask the guests to keep the bathroom clean for them. Breakfast is too basic. Their staffs are moody, dishonest and unprofessional.

Liked: The hostel was ln a great location. In addition to this, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help you-above and beyond. They are a fabulous group of people who endeavour to make your stay in Istanbul amazing. Would highly recommend this hostel to everybody!

Liked: The hostel was the perfect place for a lone traveller looking to have fun, meet people and learn about Instanbul!!! The staff were so friendly this really helped to get the party started!!! This hostel is a must if your looking for a good time!!

Liked: I had a wonderful stay here. It's a perfect base for exploring Istanbul- walking distance to most tourist attractions and a very social and safe environment.

Liked: Good rooftop terrace and bar.

Disliked: Not a bad hostel - just very average. Can't believe that this place was ranked #1 in the world! - staff friendly but a bit arrogant and impatient - hostel is plastered with advertising for their Dalyan resort.

Liked: This place is a top, top hostel. The staff here really understand what it means to provide a great hostel experience.The place is super friendly with a warm and fun atmosphere. There are great communal areas to meet fellow travellers such as the comfy lounge or the roof top terrace to chill out with a beer and if you like smoke some sheesha pipe.Theres also free entertainment put on by hostel such as the belly dancing show on Friday nights. Much fun to be had if you like to shake it!. The staff even took us out to some top istanbul clubs and got us in without paying the 30-40 lira cover charges!The rooms are clean, comfy and secure.I can't recommend this place more highly. It may sound like i am over selling this place but I'm not! Go check it out. I certainly will be going back!

Liked: Great place to meet people. Fun atmosphere, friendly staff.

Disliked: Beds are thin mattresses, not the most comfortable. Then again, it is a hostel. Staff, though friendly, isn't very helpful in planning the next legs of your trip, instead referring you to a travel agency with whom they may or may not be affiliated with.

Liked: Amazing place. One of the best hostels I've been to... The roof bar is awesome as the staff.
