Staff were super friendly a transfer bus didnt pick us up and the hostel organised and paid for a taxi for us so we didnt miss our bus. staff were great with assisting organising tours and buses. rooms were clean beds comfy. we did tours and travelled around turkey and came back to this hostel 4 times. all in all great hostel!

I loved to have breakfast at the terrace with the beautiful view over the roofs and to the marmara sea...

Cihan is awesome. He's very kind and helpful. The location doesn't get better. I highly recommend staying here.

The staff were the best! I was able to chat to them and gain such a cool insight into Turkish culture, and they were just so willing to sit down and have a cup of turkish tea with you.
Please be warned that there is an acute lack of bathrooms. You must be prepared to wait in the morning and evening rush hour and sometimes going to the toilet or brushing your teeth becomes an issue, as there are just not enough bathrooms for two floors of people.
Location was amazing though. Very close to all the sights!

Roof terrace with a beautiful view of the sea, friendly atmosphere and staff and close location to Hagia Sophia and other sights.

It was clean and the staff was very helpful. We asked for extra sheets (to cover us) and towels and we had them immediiately without cost. Breakfast wasn't great but the wiew was very nice.

This was my 4rd stay at sydney istanbul hostel. I love the staff, everyone is so nice and helpful.
The first thing i saw the last time i stayed was the warm atmosphere between the staff and other travelers. So nice! The location is perfect and very safe. The hostel is placed in a street with a bunch of other hostels and resturants.
I strongly recommend this hostel to everyone.

very friendly staff mustafa played his tukish guitar for our son and talked turkish it him as did all the staff who new any english as we ive in turkey and ur son at school here we enjoyed it and booked on recommend ation of friend in turkey will go again for sure great location good staff

I liked very much staying at this Hostel. First of all, it is very cheap and internet and breakfast is included. Secondly it is close to all import sightseeings and we can see everything by walking. Thirdly people are friendly, helpful and nice. To add all this things, at night, in this Hostel, Turkish music are played which allow us to dance and relax. It was a great value for money for us, as we saved a lot of money which could have gone on Taxis or other form of transport. The location is perfect for sight seeing. Most sights are at walking distence. Staff were very friendly and helpful and provided the service we asked for. I would recommend it to anybody wishing to visit Istanbul.

Fun, not the cleaniest hostel, no cover sheets (just dirty blanket), good location. Nice place if you love to be tickled for no reason.

The location is wonderful, because it is in the hearth of the ancient Istanbul. So it is worth to stay at this hostel.

We love Mustafa the most and other staff as well;).
They are very friendly, helpfull, funny... They made for us family
atmosphere. It was really great holiday because of them as well.

Lovely central hostel, clean rooms, reasonable prices, gorgeous roof-top terrace to laze about on, but most importantly such sweet and helpful staff (not to mention one of them looks like George Clooney's twin). And definitely visit the hammam they recommend for the authentic Turkish bathing experience!

It was a fantastic place to meet amazing people both travellers and locals alike. The breakfast was delish and the staff were fantastic. We were here during anzac week and the atmosphere was incredible and magical. The hostel is close to all major attractions and next door to the infamous pub "CHEERS". Had a whale of a time cheers guys Tara and Chris (Australia)
