Liked: Staff were fantastic, especially the manager - was always ensuring we didn't get ripped off and we appreciated how he didn't just send us to the 'touristic' restaurants downstairs when we asked for recommendations. Hostel had a great atmosphere as well and everyone got to know everyone else. The manager also organized Gallipoli tours for those interested (although some more explanation about what was actually going to happen would have been good - we weren't expecting to ride out on a public bus and spent the morning very confused!)

Disliked: The doors to the rooms didn't individually lock which was fine while we were there because everyone was honest but would have been worrying if there were any dodgy characters around. Also the second floor bathroom shower head wouldn't attach to the wall - not a huge deal, but a minor annoyance

Liked: The location was good, but there are a TON of hostels in the same area that are probably much better. It was also quite inexpensive, so I guess you get what you pay for. The people that work there are also quite friendly.

Disliked: I have stayed in a lot of hostels all over Europe in the last two months and I have disliked this one the most out of all of them. We stayed in a dorm with an ensuite bathroom and the bathroom just felt quite dirty. The shower leaked all over the floor, and the fan didn't work to take out the moisture from the shower steam and thus the bathroom was quite moldy. There are large and nice lockers in the room, but of the eight available, on only about half of them did they have keys for. When I mentioned this to the manager, he said it's not a problem as they are there 24 hours. I would still like to lock my valuables nonetheless. If someone really wanted to, they could easily access the room from an outside window that is often left open. The room also had only one electrical outlet which is a problem when there are many people wanting to charge their devices. The terrace was nice, but every time we wanted to hang out there, the staff was always up there and it felt like you were intruding on their space. The atmosphere of the place in general was lacking.

Liked: The staff was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the neighbourhood was nice. The hostel is situated just behind the Blue Mosque, so really central. The terrace and the view are beautiful and there were 2 computers with free internet access.

Disliked: It was dirty. The room was okay, but the only (!) bathroom (for about 20 people) wasn't clean at all. During our stay it was cleanend just once. You couldn't really use the kitchen because firstly you had no fridge to leave your stuff and secondly it was really adhesive. In the room was a heater but because of the windows the heat didn't stay in the room that's why the air was really dry but you couldn't turn off the heater either bacause of the cold.

Liked: helpful staff, nice breakfast! and perfect location to famous site for a short walk. actually it wasn't vacation period so there wasn't much people. but i like that because didn't wait for long time for shower. big locker to keep my stuff,

Disliked: internet connection is bad often. hardly clean room but it's okay. old bed with no ladder.

Liked: The staff was very friendly and the athmosphere was nice. The breakfast was not bad either.

Disliked: It was a little bit dirty, especially the bathrooms, without soup ans toilet paper. One day there was hot water, the other day it was freezing. They asked me to pay 5 euro for a towel, and then I start arguing they gave me it for free.

Liked: The view from the terrace is good and breakfast wasn't bad. And you can't fault it on location.

Disliked: How this hostel has a 90% rating I will never know, it was one of the worst we stayed in during our trip. Beds were very uncomfortable. Bathroom was in a bad state of repair and the shower was filthy. I came to the conclusion that the private rooms must be a hell of a lot nicer then the dorm I was in. The place was so bad we cancelled our stay there when we returned to Istanbul.

Liked: the locatıon ıs wonderful! all ımportant sıtes are walkıng dıstance. The staff ıs very frıendly and helpful, and the breakfast ıs amazıng. It was very nıce havıng breakfast at the terrace, whıch has a beatıful vıew. I would stay here agaın.

Liked: The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is good, the location is perfect. The view is incredible.

Disliked: Some bad smells from the bathroom sometimes but the place is really ok.

Liked: The staff was frıendly, polıte, ıncredıbly helpful and like a famıly away from home. The breakfast was a godsend sınce İ'm on a tıght budget. You could eat as much as you wanted and the food of eggs, cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, olıves, currants, bread and a varıety of beverages were excellent. Tea was avaılable whenever İ requested ıt. The rooftop dınıng room has a wonderful vıew of the bosphorous day and nıght. One nıght the staff even ınvıted me to dınner, such wonderful hosts

Liked: All staff were very friendly and engaging. Breakfast provided a large selection of food, including delicious tomatoes, served on the rooftop overlooking the sea. The location is perfect, walking distance to all major attractions and to restaurants. Despite us arriving a day earlier, (at 4 a.m), than we had booked for they were happy to find a bed for us for the night. Computer access and wi-fi in the lobby area, and a bar on the rooftop all available.

Disliked: The narrow stairs to the restaurant terrace.

Liked: The location to all the major tourist spots was excellent. But the best thing about staying here was the staff. They were always friendly, helpful and went out of their way to ensure that our stay was extremely memorable.

Liked: The staff were very frıendly and helpful. Great locatıon, close to many sights, including the Blue Mosque, Hagıa Sofia, and close to the tram which is very easy to use and gets you all around the European side. The roof terrace offers a great view of the sea.

Liked: I like this hostel very much. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is like all you can eat which I like so much. The terrace is good place to hang out with hostel friends, with outstanding view. I would recommend this hostel to anyone who is coming to Istanbul.
