 the staffs and the atmosphere they make !
So friendly and helpful also easy to meet nice people because of the nice atmosphere! + the rooftop with cats and free internet and free tea and the turkish breakfast :)

The people that run the hostel are some of the nicest and friendliest around. They have great recommendations for food and shops and the terrace is quite nice. This is my first time in Istanbul and the location is terrific as a starting place for many of the great sites in and around the city.

The location is perfect and, great terrace and salon with good view to Bosphorus! Laid back and relaxed, staff offering 'cay' all the time. Pasha, the hostel bar tender is charming and friendly ... I would recommend the hostel to anyone coming to Istanbul and I will choose to stay here again if I come back.

You can go to the main places from there in just 2 min walk!!! It is near everything! Hostel's staff is very friendly! There are safety boxes to keep your money and passport (and you keep the key). However there is just one key for each dorm and the all the keys were kept on reception at easy access to anyone... therefore I had to keep my stuff locked in my luggage all the time.

is a intresting place, nice people, secure, no problem whith internet o breakfast, nice view to the sea, and pasha (ARIEL, EL BURRITO ORTEGA) is very kind and handsome guy,,,

It's a great place to stay but also to meet nice people on the lovely rooftop terrace.
Good turkish breakfast. Excellent location.
Very clean (except for the shower, flooded with water becouse the draining system didn't work well).
All the staff is very kind and pleasant: many thanks to Ismail, Orhan and Pasha!
I really felt very comfortable here and I would happily recommend the Big Apple Hostel to others.

It was awesome!! Great location and the staff is perfect. Specially the guy who serves the breakfast and the one that seems to Ortega (the football player) and is in the open terrace, which is a perfect place for drinking beer. Very recommended.

The roof-top terrace and bar is excellent, clean dorms, plenty of showers and bathrooms...fairly good location, albeit in the middle of the touristy (read expensive) area of Istanbul. Cheapest place to drink in the area.

Really awesome staff, location and facilities. rooftop bar/lounge is the coolest thing ive ever seen in a hostel. definitely recommend

The rooftop terrace is a really nice place to chill and take in the view, and the location is excellent, a couple mins walking distance of the Aya Shopia, Blue Mosque, and Palace, and about 15 mins from the bazaar. Tons of restaurants and tourist shops near by.
