Liked: Location! Two minutes on foot from Aya Sofya, Blue Mosque, etc.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike. It's what it is.

Liked: Great location, very friendly and helpful stuff, rich and delicious breakfast. It also offers unlimited tea and coffee for free :)

Disliked: As we stayed in a shared bedroom and went to sleep before the others came, we had to leave our room unlocked for the others to enter later. Sharing all one key isnt very comfortable. Also the luggage room seems to be unlocked all the time.

Liked: Location of course, also breakfast and the restaurant/bar itself

Disliked: The one key per room system can be annoying at times, also it has happened a few times that when you need them, there's noone at the reception.

Liked: great location, several different resturants literally at the doorstep of the hostel. great base to see all the fab sites of istanbul. comfy beds. rooms and bathrooms cleaned daily.

Disliked: would have been nice to have A/C - fan was better than nothing but its really hot this time of yr.

Liked: Very good breakfast, very clean rooms, respectful staff,...

Disliked: Nothing to dislike, except the fact that there was no seaview-terrace as the folder sayed.

Liked: This has to be one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at- fantastic bathrooms for the 21 bed dorm, great chill bar with big lounging cushions and good food. Free secure lockers and free wireless internet. Shuttle bus to airport also really cheap at €4! I would for sure stay in the 21 bed dorm- its on the top floor with lots of sunlight and really breezy with a cool balcony. 10 bed dorm looked pretty stuffy with no windows but didn't stay there. Staff were super chill and the hostel is on a great street. Good party atmosphere too.

Liked: location was absolutely great, very good turkish coffee

Disliked: in the beginning they were gonna charge more than what the web site stipulated cause they couldnt find my booking when i arrived, and there was no available rooms so we had to go around for a couple of hours and come back, in the end, they gave us what i asked for in the beginning, one room with private bathroom but only because the staff changed when we came back, this other person was more willingfull, nonetheless the overall experience was very satisfying and good

Disliked: very hot in the room as theres no air-con and lack of fresh air coming in; doors of our rooms are always unlocked so anyone can come in (we always keep it open as we dont have keys) staffs are not very helpful

Liked: The locaton is brilliant for all the tourist attractions. The breakfast was generous, the views from the top of the building are amazing, the staff are really helpful and friendly, the plae is really clean, the atmophere is safe, pleasant and supportive. Really good value fro money. Although I shared a dorm with 15 other people, they were all really inspiring to each other and you were able to have privacy.

Disliked: There could be some activities organised by the hostel such as nights out in the evenings to the bar areas, maybe quizzes and some live entertainment

Liked: The location of the youth hostel, you are within wlaking distance of all of the main attractions.

Liked: good location near tourist places... far from downtown... no matter the girl in the bar who speaks spanish is very nice and friendly

Disliked: no lockers in the room! some one stole a puma coat , asked in the reception and it was like asking to nobody! really bad service! i felt like i was a number......

Liked: Sultan is in a fabulous location, plenty of restaurants close by and less than ten mins walk to aya sofia,blue mosque and most other main attractions. definately worth paying the two euros extra a nite to have a 6 bed dorm rather than the 24 bed dorm, i have stayed in both and the 24 bed dorm has no door so security is a bit iffy,(although there are lockers for your valuables),and limited luggage space as there are so many people.great hostel,highly reccommended!

Disliked: bathrooms were not cleaned often enough (stayed 3 nights and the bin wasn't even changed!)

Liked: lots of ppl from all around the world ( inlcuding guys from some US university rugby team...:p) , great location, close everywhere. quiet during night. comfty beds. although we've left everything in dorm, nothing was missing - yet there are lockers available on request. goooog breakfest. perfect value for money.

Disliked: lack of hangers in bathrooms, so there is no place to hang your clothes or towels on, while showering...
