Customer reviewOverall old style building and the double private ensuite room was just average with old furniture and not well clean. Toilets were old as well with an overhead tank type flush. The staff was very cooperative, they also put an electric heater for us in the room. Location wise Its a little bit off site from the main tram street. Summary: Cheap backpackers hostel but less comfort. |

Customer reviewLocation was very good, and most staff were very helpful. However, the bathrooms were fairly dirty and the shower had clearly not been cleaned well recently. |

Heinric van VlokhovenThe hostel is reasonble, considering the price. This hostel is really close to the landmarks and they've got all you need. There is a nice little bar in the basement. But the hostel only houses boring people. It's more like cheap hotel, no atmosphere! |

Ankon MitraIt is in Cemberlitas, at the doorstep of the Sultanahmet (Blue Mosque), the Hippodrome, the Topkapi Palace, the Aya Sofya, the Yerabatan Cisterns and the Sahil Yolu (Sea Road), and this is its biggest plus. Also the tram-network is 5 minutes walk away, which will take you to the Sirkeci dock for ferries to any part of the city. Location, location, location. The breakfast is basic, and the rooms are small and not always the cleanest, but hey, for the price, no one is complaining. The staff is very helpful and warm, and a lot of bookings such as coaches for airport transfers, whirling dervish performances etc., can be made at the hostel reception itself. All in all, a thumbs up to the Paris Istanbul Hostel. |

Alexandru IordanExcellent location. Good value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff. Could be cleaner (but then it would be more expensive...). So if you're looking for a cheap place to stay when visiting Istanbul this is definetly the place to go. |
