Liked: The location close to Sulthanamet. The people staying there. The low prices. Free wifi

Disliked: The bathroom wasnt very clean. There were two older women in our room who wanted to sleep early so they didnt want us to talk at night. It's a YOUTH hostel! The matrasses on the beds were really bad, it hurt to sleep on them.

Liked: One of best places in which we stayed during our Balkan trip. Situated at one of the best possible places in Istanbul, less than 5 min from Hagia Sophia! The staff, and the owner Berkay were extremely friendly and helpful. As we have been there for Christmas, they also took as to a clubbing night in the city. Definitely recommending it to all the young people...if you are coming to Istanbul for few days, stay here, you will not be dissapointed :)

Liked: This hostel have amazing owner and staff! We had a brilliant stay- they took us out, showed us a nightlife, gave us some good tips... Also, hostel have unbeatable location- from the terrace you have amazing view of Aja Sofia! I wish all the best to this awesome people from Orient and I will definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Liked: the hostel and its staff were great!! helpful with anything you asked and was more than willing to go out of their way to help. rooms and bathrooms were very modern and cleaned daily. free internet aswell!!!

Liked: + Excellent location + Incredible views from the rooftop terrace/restaurant, overlooking the Sea of Marmara, Blue Mosque and Aya Sofya

Disliked: - Stayed 4 nights, but the sheets or towels were not changed at all! However this is a positive from a security perspective.

Liked: Fantastic location and an incredible rooftop bar where it was great to eat the (very good) free breakfast. The staff were friendly and they recommended and booked us a turkish bath that we loved.

Disliked: The directions on the print out confirmation weren't very detailed and I'd definitely recommend you printed a map as well. The room was at the front of the hostel facing the street and incredibly noisy all night so bring your earplugs! There were also no lockers in the room and the beds weren't that confortable, but nothing major.

Liked: 8 bed female dorm was safe and spacious.

Disliked: No lockers in the room is annoying, hate leaving my stuff out, but small safes in reception for valuables is great.

Liked: Free WiFi and you can use in bedroom. Good breakfast. This hostel is on street which has many restaurants and good atmosphere.

Liked: Great location, and there is a lovely rooftop terrace. And a really good included breakfast.

Disliked: I disliked that the tours they offered were sub standard quality, that they sent us to a dirty, old Turkish bath, on a pub crawl with drinks 3 times the normal price with NOONE in the bar but ourselves and drove us around drunk and speeding in an out of traffic. They then stuffed us around on our booking, moving us out of an air conditioned room to an underground room which smelt like mould. When we asked if we could move to a different hostel with air conditiioning, they refused to refund our money. Overall, a disappointing experience as the hostel is a fantastic location and is quite a nice hostel.

Liked: Good ıncluded breakfast, wıfı free, nıce vıew from top level. open 24 hours and desk staff on duty at all tımes. super close to Aya Sofıa, blue mosque and Topakı palace. Free luggage storage.

Disliked: Only common area ıs theır restaurant- no place to cook or eat your own food and Turkısh food ıs expensıve ıf you eat out. I booked an addıtıonal nıght ın person whıle there and they changed my reservatıon from a gırls dorm to mıxed dorm and trıed to lıe about my bookıng, even though the erased number for the gırls dorm was under the number they were tryıng to get me to use: moral of the story- book ONLINE only- I had no problems wıth that and you wıll have proof that cannot be erased.

Liked: The atmosphere is really friendly, the facilites are good. You are in a very nice location, full of restaurants and mini bars

Disliked: I honestly dont recommend the pub crawl. I was in quite a lot of them around Europe and this is was really bad. Its expensive and they dont give you anything. And in the bars they charge depending on the face, even the sam people that organice the pub crawl. Expensive and boring!!!!!
