Liked: I had the best stay at Orient Hostel. The people were so nice and friendly especially Ersin the travel agent man who was very very helpful with booking tours and just made me feel at home. Ersin made my stay there....GO BRUNO U ROCK!! :-) (Michelle kiwi living in Melbourne)

Liked: The location is perfect if you're only a few days in Istanbul. Close to the major attractions, as Aya Sofia. A lot of young people and plenty of opportunities to party. That also means that you're not getting a good night rest here, it's not quiet at all. Noise inside and outside the hostel.For a more 'authentic' experience, take a hotel in the Beyoglu area. Same price, but a lot more quality and atmosphere.

Liked: we had a double room and it was lovely...spacious, clean, own bathroom, air-conditioned and the staff were friendly and helpful in their own crazy turkish way

Liked: We stayed in a suit it was very nice but the rest of the hostel was not very clean, we are glad that we didn't had to use the shared toilets. Breakfast ok.

Liked: I loved the helpful and laid back staff. The breakfast was good. The terrace bar had amazing views of the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofya as well as the Bosphorus. They can help book tours for the rest of Turkey. They have a great selection of all types of rooms, and good food. Overall, it was great value for money. Mehmet and Apo are the best!

Liked: This is the best hostel ever!! Partied with the staff until 6am most mornings and they were always ready to help if you had any queries. Value for money was amazing...free breakfast and shisha pipes each day!The hostel is located just around the corner from the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and Haghia Sofia...GO TO ORIENT!!
