It is very well located in Goreme, it has a nice view of the city, not very clean though. I think you can find better places, but it will be hard to beat the price. An advice for everyone going to Goreme trough Nevsehir: Stay away from the tour companies at the Bus Station, they will try to sell bus tickets and tours at a higer price you can get on the spot. BTW, the hot air balloon tour is a must, my wife and I had a Great view of the hotel from the sky!

Where to begin? My friend and I traveled to Goreme in late September 2009 and stayed at the Global & Panoramic Cave Hotel for 2 nights. The first room we were assigned (one of the large cave rooms) literally reeked of sewage and had a defective toilet. It smelled like a huge landfill; the worker who led us in there even plugged his nose as we were hauling our luggage in. The putrid odor was so overpowering that we asked to be shown a new room that evening. The second room was absolutely bone chilling freezing, and the toilet was also half unattached to the floor, releasing a generally foul odor throughout the entire room. Though there was a heater in the room, the hotel refused to turn it on, despite temperatures hovering around 40 Fahrenheit. My friend and I slept in a shared twin bed just for the body heat. The space heater they loaned to use the net night was promptly removed during the day while we were out hot air ballooning. We decided to leave for Istanbul that very day because the amenities were completely unendurable. In terms of services they offer, it's true that they make booking tours/nights out easy. One of the excursions they promote is a "Turkish NIghts" dinner that promises cultural dancing, and unlimited food/drinks . While we're not generally fans of these cheesy shows, there is very little night life in Cappadocia, so we figured it was worth the 50 Lira they charged. There are 5 different venues in the area that feature the Turkish NIghts show, and the hostel owner took us to the VERY WORST ONE. I'm honestly still too bitter to expound on all the ways this was one of the worst dining "experiences" of my entire life, but it's not an overexaggeration to state that I don't recall a time that I was ever treated in a shabbier, ruder manner. The location was ICE COLD, they gave us seats in the back despite it being half empty and us being one of the first guests to arrive, they refused to bring out tea despite the promise of "unlimited food/drinks", brought out 4 small pieces of burnt beef and called it lamb, didn't have more than literally ONE COURSE OF FOOD, pretended not to hear us when we asked for more tea because it was freezing, etc etc. I couldn't believe that the Turkish hospitality that I had heard other people rave about had turned into such an unbelievable sham. I still can't conceive how a hotel can, in good faith, give two girls a room that smelled like SEWAGE when they had other rooms available. It's so inhuman that I had to write this review as a warning to other backpackers out there. With our room and various tours, we ended up dropping over 500 Lira there in a span of 2 days/2 nights and I have nothing but bitter memories over how appallingly poor our treatment was. I've booked dozens of hostels through this site, and this is the first review I wrote because our stay here almost singlehandedly ruined our entire trip throughout Turkey.

Stayed in a fantastic cave room. The staff were extraordinarily helpful, assisting us with activities, bus tickets etc. Would definitely recommend. Signage towards the hotel may refer to it as 'panoramic', 'global panoramic' or 'yellow roses', but it's all the same place. Breakfast was served in a lovely outdoor area (or indoor if you prefer) overlooking goreme. Great value for money.

The view is perfect and the location is a short climb up a hill. There are nearer pensions, but there are further ones also. The employee is extremely helpful and breakfast was well-prepared. I also appreciated that we could wash up in the dorm washroom after we had checked out before we took the night bus. The room itself was the coolest ever!

This is really a lovely place to stay. Hotel is situated upon a hill with a panoramic view over Göreme town. They organise a pickup from the bus station if required. Just ask the guy in an Official Tourist Office (next to the bus stop) to ring the hotel on your behalf. I stayed in a very pretty chimney room with double bad and impressive crystal chandelier, it also had an ottoman style pillows in a cosy sort of a lounge. Breakfast was yummy, made of cheese, eggs, olives, plenty of fresh bread and selection of juicy fruits, tea & coffee. Ergün, an adorable young lad who works there (but in fact runs the place) will help you with everything. Whether it’s hot air ballooning, car rental or day tour ask him for advice and assistance with booking. If you are lucky enough he’ll show you around on his coolest motorbike (Thanks Ergün. I loved it!). Don’t ask for a helmet though just relax and have fun. I really enjoyed my stay at Panoramic Cave Hotel and highly recommend this place to all travellers, if you are on a budget but still want something special, go for it!!! You will love your day from the time you sip your cup of coffee in the early morning sun until the end of the day when you can relax on the terrace drinking Efes or wine from local vineyard (check out products from Ürgüp). I found home away from home there.... the owner of the hotel, his wife and Ergün made me feel happy, safe & very welcomed . Thanks a lot to all of ye :)

Beautiful property, with awesome views over goreme. Our room was massive and felt like a hotel room - it was really nice and clean. Breakfast is ok, staff are very good - except do not do the whirling devilishers (cant remember the spelling) night show that they recommend. It was expensive, dinner was the worst ive had in turkey - a tiny tea cup of rice and 5 small pieces of lamb. All you can drink alcohol, included warm home brew beer and non-alcoholic wine. And the show is terrible for a supposed 800 year old tradition. Our worst nite in turkey. Aside from that the hostel is fantastic. Highly recommended

Very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed in a fairy chimney room which was magical and had amazing views across Goreme valley. Very large room and large ensuite bathroom too. Fairly steep (but short) climb up a cobbled street to hostel but worth it for the view

Great value, terrific staff and prime location. Quiet up on the hillside with the same view as the panoramic overlook so enjoy sunset at your front door. 10 min walk down the hill to all the local places. Internet is wired only, 1-at-a-time but great speeds. Solar water heaters work fine even in morning. I was surprised.
