Liked: We had a great stay at this hostel. The value for the money was excellent. It has a great central location in Goreme and is very close to the bus station. It has a nice common area. The staff are friendly and helpful and I would recommend doing their "red" tour of the area that they offer. The tour takes you to places in Cappadocia you wouldn't otherwise get a chance to see on your own, and you get a good sense of the "real" Turkey. The hot water in the shower can be hit and miss, and the kitchen might be a little small during the busy time of year. Fortunately it wasn't a problem for us as we were the only two people there for the most part during our stay in January. The hostel was inexpensive, so don't expect luxury, but I've stayed in much worse hostels for the price I paid here.

Liked: Great breakfast (try the menemen), friendly staff and a great place to meet fellow travellers. The tours offerd by the hostel are value for money and the balloon ride was worth the expense.

Disliked: The only complaint about this place is I got absolutely ravaged by either bed bugs or pet fleas in the 7 bed dorm room. Everyone else in the room was fine. We did come across a couple of travellers the following week who had a similar experience in the same room. Apart from this experience my stay here was great.

Liked: Very good location, frilendly and helpful staff. The hostel's owners organize a few kinds of day - trips through Kapadocia, which are really great and in a good price. Wi-fi works well.

Disliked: Sometimes you have to wait for hot water, what is not very comfortable.

Liked: The location is perfect...... the boss "Bayram" is very helpful, he arranged hot air balloon trip for us. Good to make friends here.

Disliked: The showers and toilet were in the same small room and because there were only two there was often a line

Liked: Like: good and big breakfast for 5 TYL; friendly staff; hostel offers some good tours through the area for 55 and 70 TYL - unfortunately only if there are enough people; nice atmosphere. I stay in a 7-bed-dorm, it was small, but cozy especially becuase it has only 16 degrees outside. Tea for free the whole day.

Disliked: Dislike: Only 2 bathrooms (asian style, shower in the middle of the room) for the dorms. But it works, altough the hostel was really full when i stayed there. And for only a few euros per night is more than ok.

Liked: The staff here are lovely and it is a really good place to met other travellers. They offer good tours and make you feel very at home, it is like staying in your mates place with comfortable couches. The price is good and the breakfast is cheap

Disliked: The dorm rooms are a bit small, but you are staying in a cave!

Liked: Great social atmosphere of travellers arriving and departing all the time, excellent staff and tasty breakfasts worth extra 5 TL!

Disliked: the special tour only from Emre's is actually nice, it can take you to many places which are not so touristy, however, the guide is just Emre's relatives...

Liked: Cheap, perfect location, swimming pool and they can provide you chep breakfast and meals. I´d highly recommend to take one of the tours they offer, it´s the best way to explore the region if you don´t have a car and don´t have enough time.

Liked: The food on offer: even though the breakfast is not included, it is cheap and worth every lira. The staff is really friendly and makes you feel like part of the family. I liked the pool and Emre offers a great day tour of Cappadocia highlights, among which the largest underground city of Turkey, which thankfully is not mentioned in your Lonely Planet! Ha!

Disliked: The bathroom was a bit smelly.

Liked: What a lovely little gem! We were made very welcome with tea given to us on arrival! The place is clean and tidy, and well kept. They have a kitchen you can use (the same one the family uses, and that they cook the hostel food in) - they make great food. I recommend the Menemen. And the puppy (will maybe be a dog now) is so flipping cute! The family are just wonderful and the private tour they offer is really great.

Liked: nice peasfull hotel leading by nice couple and their frined/familly. Great food nice rooms great choise for the money. I have been sick and the owner get my amoust for free to private hospital and stay with me to get me back to the hstel.Those people are so helpfull and nice! thank you
