Liked: Great cave room, the ensuite bathroom was great, and the guy working there (the owner's son I think?) was extremely helpful - got us deals on a tour, a Turkish dancing night, and ATV rentals. Also breakfast was good, and the upstairs balcony/lounge area was awesome.

Disliked: Just note that there isn't a bar at the pension (unlike the picture on Hostelbookers suggests) - I think that is at the hotel.

Liked: This place is great! It's set in a little fairy chimney. It has a balcony with excellent views of Goreme. the guys there are really friendly and relaxed.

Disliked: smoking in the common area by staff.

Liked: Great facilities, friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend. Actually stayed in the hotel which had the best views in Goreme.

Liked: The owner was lovely, we got into goreme quite late and he was able to arrange activities for us the next day and nothing was too much for him. He even called and booked our next nights accomm for us, Good location and lovely breakfast-the scambled eggs were amazing!

Liked: The place is very nice and in one of the main caves in Goreme.The breakfast is amazing and also have wifi.

Disliked: the only think you should know is that the 4 bad dorm have no private WC.You should know that also have cats but i guess that in the whole city is the same.

Liked: There were a lot of cats roaming around, and the place was at a height which offered a good vantage point of the surrounding areas.

Disliked: The rooms were incredibly small, with the bed taking 95 % of the space, however the shared bathroom by itself was very ill maintained, with no ventilation in the bathroom, which meant it felt like a sauna while taking a shower, with zero visibility. The food portions were incredibly small, and though the place tried to pull off a incredibly old vibe, the friendliness of the staff lasted only for the moment they met us, and the moment we left..... in between, they acted very in-different to any requests put before them, for instance, extra blankets due to the fact that the room was frigid. However there were individual staff, who were very kind and courteous and friendly, and ensured that the lodgers were feeling at home.

Liked: The hotel was picturesque and family run. It was fun staying in a cave room, surprisingly clean and cosy with a radiator, with good hot water in the attached bath. The terrace had a good view of the town. The staff was very helpful and spoke English.

Disliked: The mattresses and chairs were a not very comfortable. The attached toilet doubled as the shower. There were kittens and cats all over, cute but would dash into your room.

Liked: The location.its very close to the main town area and also walking distance from teh bus stand.

Disliked: The room we got was very very small.

Liked: They seems like not receive the confirmation from hostelbookers but still manage to give me a bigger room although i only booked a doublebed ensuite room. The staff there is very nice. Convenient location with a quite nice view.

Liked: Lovely and cool staying in the Cave's as temperatures were in the 40's! Staff friendly and helpful. Great view from the Terrace with good food. Breakfast menu was flexible as well which was a welcome relief from the usual.

Disliked: There was a large group staying whilst we were there who were quite noisy, this could have been bad timing though. Could have been cleaner but not over dirty.

Liked: Excellent location, at the highest part of Goreme, with the panoramic views of the village and hot air balloons passing by every morning. We've got probably the best, half-in-cave triple en suite room at the very top of the property, with our own balcony.

Disliked: Every morning you have to order what do you want for breakfast, so you have to wait until they make it. If there are other people waiting for the breakfast, too, and you are in a hurry, it can be a problem. The bathroom drain was clogged, so the water from showering couldn't flow.

Liked: The place was as described: true caves and fairy gimeneys. We got room 5 on the ground-floor (twin room ensuite, 25 EUR per night per 2 person). It was shoking: very-very-very dirty and dark small cave, 2 beds looking like for vagabonds, bad smell, single lamp above the door for lightning...First idea was to move to another place immediately, but we decided not to make quick decisions. But! When we came to this room at the evening to sleep, I found a hige number of bad-bugs on the bed back!!! The only wish was to move this place immediately and 7 a.m. in the morning we move to another hostel - much better for the same price. I travelled many countries and usually concern easy to the hotel's comfort - but this place was really bad. The stuff is friendly but they need to clean their property, buy new beds, repair furniture and electroconducting to make their hostel cosy. We met 6 people from our country in this hostel at the same time and asked them do they like their stay. They said: "First days it was awful but at the end we got used to". As for me - I don't wand "to get used to", especially because for our country 25 eur per 1 day is enough big money.
