Liked: I just booked it because I needed somewhere when I arrived in Turkey from England in the middle of the night. I might as well have slept in the street. Nothing was prepared for me when I arrived. Second night I slept on the roof because it was preferable to the room (mattress on the floor and nothing else) I had the first night. I had a much, much better time when I came back to Bodrum at the end of my trip and stayed at Hostel Kalendar - which was fantastic.

Liked: Dont bother people, it's a dump. Bathroom stank and had bugs flying round it. Beds were falling apart. The location was good as it was in the middle of everything, but it's impossible to get a decent amount of sleep at night with all the noise from the pub on the ground floor of the hostel and all the other pubs around, that and the cars flying around, dogs barking and people yelling. Was told the breakfast that comes included was down stairs in the bar between 9 and 10, got there in the morning and nothing was set up and couldnt find anyone to ask about it. Had hot water though in the shower. I wasnt shown any communal areas. There wa sa sign saying no guests allowed upstairs, though I assume that's were the rooftop terrace was, so made no sence.

Liked: very central place of Bodrum, it is near to bus stations, to the museum, the sea and if you like to enjoy night life, I have been said that there is a bar town at the corner. Also, the atmosphere was very boheme, it is quite relatif. This might be commented as friendly&warm or bad staff who is lack of politeness and cleanness. Two big point : I had no key in my room and owner of hotel was drunk when I arrived to hotel !

Liked: A good place to meet other backpackers for sure. It could do with some fan or air-condition as it is really unbearable to sleep as there is hardly an breeze coming to the room.

Liked: A LITTLE BIT NOISY AT NIGHT AND HOT TOO. IT DIDN'T PROVIDE FANS. BUT THE PUB DOWNSTAIRS SEEMED VERY COOL. DON'T RECOMMEND TO PEOPLE WHO LIKE QUIET NIGHTS AND EARLY SLEEPS.

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay here and the Mehmets (the two guys on staff) were wonderful! They were so helpful and welcoming and the one was an incredible cook! The owner was the only downside as she was rather cold and genuinely unfriendly, which was surprising considering how awesome her staff was. It was a fabulous place to meet people though and we ended up traveling with 3 of the people we met there. Would definitely come again!

Liked: Great place 2mins walk from the main stretch and the boys had a blast. Lock out factor is high so check your keys work before heading out to Halikarnas. Apart from that all good

Liked: The Hostel was very friendly to all travellers staying there and included everyone in the social activities. Great home cooked meals were available for a very reasonable price each night. Best location for going to the beach the pubs and the marina.
