Liked: Everything! Although the weather was terrible in Bodrum they tried to cheer up my day offering a private tour to a close village. The rooms were awesome, only 2 beds and private bathroom for each. Great breakfast, too! Definetally recommended.

Liked: Great staff!! Great party set up for peak season - I stayed off peak so was pretty much the only guest. Lovely family staff, cooked me lunch and took care of me without any request to!! Great pool to relax in off-peak season.

Disliked: Nothing - sorry I wasn't in party mode!

Liked: We loved the pool. Free wifi. Free breakfast.

Disliked: We stayed in the dorm room and there were no lockers. Also the bunkbeds didn't have ladders to get up to the top bunk and they seemed kind of unsafe (like they could collapse). The location of the hostel is good in terms on where it is in the town but the town itself (Gumbet) is kind of a package holiday tourist hell.

Liked: Close to shops and gun bet night life.

Disliked: All but one of the staff could not speak any English and had to call the one who could regarding any questions, absolutely no food or drink can be brought in from outside the premises. We came home after a night out holding a bottle of WATER and reception took them off us. Ridiculous.

Liked: Good place - was very clean (after we asked) and 4 bedded dorm had aircon and own bathroom. Location good for Gumbet. Excellent bus service (about 20-30mins) to Bodrum old town and port. Breakfast good. Happy hour good too.

Disliked: Staff a bit disorganised. Def take print out of your booking form. It is forbidden to take any other liquids or food not purchased on property - even WATER from outside is forbidden. That attitude really rankles.

Liked: The dorms have A/C so it was so welcoming! There is also a pool when you feel too lazy to go at the beach, or if you just want a swim after a big day. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms as well.

Disliked: The staff do not really speak english (or any another languages) so it is difficult to be understood somethime. They are so friendly, but it could take time to ask a very easy question.

Liked: Very clean and great room for the price. There's even a pool and it was really warm when I was there at the beginning of june. Staff very helpful.

Disliked: The hotel was empty. It is called Hostel Kalender but it is a hotel except that some rooms are shared. The atmosphere is not the one of a hostel.

Liked: Great location right in the centre of Gumbet. Close to bodrum centre for sightseeing. This hotel was perfect for me it had a great atmosphere, very friendly and the staff treat you like family and do a great job at building a rapport with you and help to build a rapport between the guests. The staff at this hotel are by way the best I have come across the kalender family are fantastic and can not do enough for you. great onsite snack bar and bar. and a delicious pool side breakfast every morning. I can not fault hotel kalender or all the staff. Cant wait to come back again thanks guys

Liked: Very good facilities, clean swimming pool and friendly and helpful stafff. Moreover the location is very good and they offer free pick up from the bust station.

Liked: Off the main street, quiet but close to Gumbet nightlife and beach

Disliked: Loud music all night at the bar even though there were two people sitting at a table while I tried to sleep.

Liked: Good swimming pool. Not many people there when I was there. I was the only one to have a meal at the hostel - ti was good value. Owner was friendly and spoke English.

Disliked: I had to go down one flight of stairs then up another to get to my room- Ok with a backpack. Was warmly greeted but very little English spoken at reception.

Liked: It has a family feel about the place. It was a relatively quiet location with only a 5 minute walk into the main strip where a lot of bar's are located.

Disliked: One of the staff members suggested we take a tour of traditional Turkey with his friend; however this is just a rouse to try and sell you a beautiful rug!!!

Liked: Nice staff, very clean, good breakfast .

Disliked: I was the only guest there (a little unsettling, but no one's fault) and they insisted on blasting Beyonce and Lady Gaga from the bar late at night. While their only guest was in bed trying to sleep. Also, the wifi advertised is non existent, the tv didn't work, and the bathroom doorknob came off in my hand. But the owners are really nice guys and it's a nice, clean location.

Liked: Great rooms, clean warm with amazing showers. I went during low season but imagine the set up that is on the ground floor would make it have a great atmosphere in the peak times.

Liked: The hotel was comfortable, clean, affordable, definitely value for money, and the manager had a great sense of humour. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Felt very at home there. It's the only place I would ever consider staying again in Bodrum, and I fully recommend it to everyone else.

Liked: omg this place is AWESUM its got pool and bar cheap as chips only 3min walk to the beach cooked breakfast and dinner as wel even picked me up from the bus station like a big family booked for 2 nites ended up staying 10 (i booked for 4 bed dorm and they had spare private room so they gave that to me at no charge overlooking the pool

Liked: The staff were really friendly and went out of there way to help you. They collected me from the port in Bodrum which was great.They are very central in gumbet and Bodrum centre is reached easy by bus that passes by the hostel often.The hostel was very clean and well worth the money I paid. I would highly reccommend travellers to stay here.

Liked: The hotel staff made me feel like family, nothing was a bother for them. The staff created a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The hotel location was super central, the hotel is easy to find, easy to get out and about from. The food at the hotel was yummy, with an excellent choice of food and drink and considering it was the winter season the choice was a plenty. My room was very cosy, very spacious, comfortable and i found a hair-dryer in the shower that's a plus. I loved the hotel grounds everything is set around a large pool area. I would say the friendly staff, great location and excellent rates make hotel kalender one to beat. I will defo be making my return visit in the summer months.

Disliked: i honestly cant think of a thing..

Liked: I had such a great time here. I really didn't want to go back to Bodrum after my first experience (at Bodrum Backpackers) when I arrived but I had to to get my flight back to England. I was very pleasantly surprised. It's a great place to meet Turks and international travellers. The pool is a great focal point and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Liked: Hotel Kalender is a nice place to stay. I would certainly recommend it for backpackers who is hanging around south west Turkey. Staff is very helpful and friendly.. Go and enjoy there!
