Liked: Very nice atmosphere, good location and most important of all very frinedly staff, ready to help you in your every need.

Disliked: Pretty much nothiing, I liked it very much. O f course i 'd liked it more if it was cheaper.

Liked: clean, quiet, safe. top floor balcony with nice view of town and harbor.

Liked: The pension is situated in the old town, inside an old Greek house, nicely renovated by the owners, who take good care of it. The breakfast is held on a balcony at the top floor, with the beautiful views of Ayvalik.

Disliked: It doesn't have to do with dislikes, more as an information: very steep old streets, together with the stairs at the house, so think about carrying your luggage (traffic is forbidden in this part of the old town).

Liked: Lovely clean and comfortable rooms with beautiful view of the town and the sea!!! Its located in a very interesting authentic turkish street, minutes away from main Ayvalik, but just far enough to be out of the hustle and bustle of the town. The couple who owned it were lovely and very helpful, they booked us onto a fantastic boat trip and were always keen to help. Also, the breakfast was fantastic!!! I rate the apricot jam highly, I was very tempted to try and bring some back with me and the coffee they served was amazing!! Such a lucky find!!!!

Disliked: There was nothing that I hated, my only suggestion was that it would gain from a water cooler.

Liked: The only thing remarcable is the nice view you'll have while sitting in the terrace.The pension is placed on top of a hill, in the middle of a non touristic neighbourhood full of rubbish. A lot of traffic and tight streets make very difficult to arribe to the pension by car.It is not allowed to wear shoes inside the pension, which means that you must walk barefooted along corridors, stairs and terrace. I didn't like thah.

Liked: This is a very pleasant hostel on the hill with very helpful and friendly staff and a nice view of the town and the sea from the veranda. It is located in the middle of a network of old, cobbled, narrow streets, so those arriving by car should phone ahead for directions - the friendly husband and wife team will help you to find parking etc.

Liked: Great location, and the staff was very helpful and informative. We had a great time in Ayvalik and Kelebek was an excellent base.The only bad points were that we had to ask for more blankets (cooold in spring) and the house ran out of hot water for a day. It runs on solar panel, so we are happy to blame the lack of sun about it, as long as it is a sustainable installation!

Liked: We had a great stay, and ended up staying an extra night. If we ever go back to Ayvalik we would stay hear again. Cigdem and husband were wonderful hosts.
