Liked: kind welcome, good servis, kleen room, fine even for us as elderly. nearby shops etc when you get to know surroundings

Liked: I am an Indian. I enjoyed my stay during Nov 2011 at Oasis Pansion. Friendly people... Safe place right inside the City Center - Kaleici... Value for Money...

Disliked: Toilet can be maintained bit more cleaner.

Liked: On the positive side the hostel was fairly well located and the room was clean when we arrived.

Disliked: On the negative side the room was never cleaned or tidied while we were there; there was a tiny bin for all your rubbish including paper from the toilet because the plumbing couldn’t cope with it being flushed; the TV was hopeless. The staff seemed to be an unhappy and insular group of people who didn’t take any pride in the place; they would help if you asked but we found them difficult to engage with. The staff constantly occupied the public area on the ground floor and chain smoked inside so the hotel reeked of stale cigarette smoke the whole time, right up to the top floor where our room was [PS I am a smoker but I go outside]. The wi-fi signal couldn’t reach our room so you had to go to this uncomfortable public area to use your computer. The building seemed like a fire trap to me, I didn’t see any smoke detectors and we thought they had probably been removed because the cigarette smoking might have been setting them off; there was a lot of wood in the construction of the building [including our room and a lot of the staircase], the fire escape would have been difficult to access and was obstructed by some old carpets which looked as though they had been there for years.

Liked: freindliness and helpfulness of the staff and good location

Disliked: the bathroom was very tiny with an incredibly low slanted ceiling over the toilet which made it slightly difficult for my two fellow male travellers to use the toilet

Liked: The mother of the owner was very frıendly.

Disliked: The owner wasn´t dressed properly for ıt´s functıon.

Liked: we stayed ın a dorm room whıch we felt was quıte spacıous and roomy for 4 people (even though there were 6 beds). felt that the stay was comfortable enough.

Disliked: Thıs place was really dıffıcult to fınd.. felt that they should have put better ınstructıons onlıne.. ıt wasnt just us but other travellers who had trouble fındıng the hostel because the bus that they told us to take dropped us really far from the gate to the Old Town. Thankfully we met someone nıce who showed us the way. The staff spoke very lıttle englısh. so sometımes ıt,s hard to communıcate. Don,t expect recommendatıons for places to go to etc. Shower and tap were leaky.

Liked: Good breakfast, friendly staff, excellent location. Booked a dorm but had it to ourselves for 1 night and only 1 other on one night. 24 hour reception and free internet was good too

Disliked: small bathroom in room and room was right at the top of the building but no big deal!

Liked: Good location in the old city.

Disliked: First they forgot to pick us up from the airport and from then on they didn't seem to care about anything. Our airconditioner was dripping water on the bed and the manager told us that he couldn't do anything, so we should just move the bed ourselves. There were some nice women working in the hotel, but they didn't speak any English and we had to get other guests to translate for us.

Liked: great location, friendly staff member who upgraded me because I came in at 6am after taking a night bus and needed to rest. So he was kind enough to let me rest in a room before check in. The hotel was sufficient and I had access to wireless.

Disliked: breakfast started way too late--i didnt get chance to partake of breakfast because i had an early tour, so that was inconvenient since I wanted to eat breakfast. also not much info was given on day trip tours so i had to look elsewhere for tour info.

Liked: Great location in the old town, super cheap, nice breakfast, quiet, comfy beds. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was ridiculously hot but our room stayed nice and cool thanks to some great air conditioning! I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Disliked: Nothing. It isn't really somewhere you would stay to meet people. There was only a few other people staying when we were there.

Liked: Lowest cost hostel in the Old Town, good location, quiet and clean, well-maintained, spacious rooms, ensuite baths, nice breakfast. A good choice for couples or small groups.

Disliked: No organized activities, event info or tips on how to get around town, so it's mostly self-service. The common area was so hot (July) that most people hung out in their air conditioned rooms, so it wasn't very social. No security lockers in the dorms, although there is a safe in reception.

Liked: Warm welcome. Over booked dorm, so was gıven room to myself wıth ensuıte and roof terrace....same prıce! Relaxed atmosphere, great for the older traveller. Fantastıc locatıon.

Disliked: The manager kept on locking main door as he was a bit of a drinker. Had to call him from the pub all times.

Liked: Stayed only 1 night but owner is friendly and helpful. The streets are like "Maze" which may easily get lost, yet, owner is vey kind to give us a namecard in the first place, thus, just in case if find any problem, we can call him for assistance.

Liked: Great location in the old town, really great staff and very good value for money. At breakfast etc i felt like one of the family. :-)

Disliked: Nobody else staying in my dorm room whilst i was there. Nice to have a big dorm room to myself but not so good for meeting like minded travellers. Not really the fault of oasis pansion.
