 one of the best hostels I have been to in the whole world..and I have been a backpacker for the last 6 years, having travelled throughout usa, canada, australia, china, japan, and in the past (30 years ago) in Europe. Mr Kool and his crew have been very helpful in recommending good side trips such as snorkelling at Phi Phi Island. Location is next to a bus station so it is easy to get to the beaches, and at night, the huge common room with a large TV and many dvds provide good entertainment. I certainly recommend this place, and once word is out, I am sure the place will be very popular.

It is clean, It has a really friendly staff and almos all of them speak a good level of english, nice facilities, Big TV Screen with a lot of DVD's

Great Facilities and Free internet access. The owner is a friendly guy and staff are helpful, they all speak english quite well. Best hostel that I've stayed in Thailand so far.

good location, buses to beaches leave from directly outside the hostel, within walking distance of town without being beside all the KFC, McDonalds and so on.
