It is right in the middle of all the nightlife and the owner was really really helpful, not just about Phuket but about other areas of Thailand. It is a bit basic but it's cheap!

Good location, but member of staff was quite rude to us when we asked to look at the room first. Room quite small and the one plug in the room did not work.

The hostel was pretty basic but excellent value for money, it was situated right in the heart of Patong Beach, Phuket all the night life, shops, retaurants,bars & clubs & it was only 5min walk to the beach so everything you need is rite on your doorstep, there is also a gym next door with a fabulous swimming pool that was open to the non members for a small price of 250 baht per day, the hospitality of the Crown Hostel was great, the staff were really friendly & lovely people that were always willing to help with any questions, queries & the bookings of trips & transfers to airport, they also had fantastic discount prices for the endless list of must see day trips to, Phi Phi island, Coral Island, Krabi, Elephant Treking & James Bond island just to name afew.. they also had internet access & washing facilities..
All in all it i think it was excellent value for money,i would definately recommend the Crown Hostel & i would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff for making my stay a very pleasant one. diane.

It's a typical Backpackers hostel with a good host and nice & clean private rooms. A good value/price deal.

This hostel was right in the middle of Patong. Very good in the day to literally walk right up Bangla Road to the beach. The rooms were fine. Although the problem was of a night time it is right in the middle of everything so it is very noisy. Very safe to walk around by yourself. Could have been a bit cleaner but great location makes up for it.

Peter was very helpful and friendly. You feel safe inside the hostel, outside is a little overwhelming, noisy and busy but that comes with being located in the centre of things in Patong

The manager and his wife were very helpful and very kind. Would have stayed for longer if i had had the time. The manager went out of his way to help us and to tell us a bit about Patong beach and our next destination of bangkok.

I recommend this hostel simply because of the host - the hostel itself was dirty and quite noisy because it is in the middle of town - but the host is so helpful and honest.
