Liked: Unlike a lot of other places in Phuket it's fairly reasonably priced. Staff was very nice and friendly. They were helping several guests (myself included) get to places with simple maps and calling ahead to get more precise directions, etc. Pretty quiet; no loud bars/clubs nearby and the road is far enough away to just be a dull hum. A few local restaurants within walking distance, generally no English menus but generally someone spoke well enough to get something to eat.

Disliked: The road it's off of is very, very busy. To get anywhere you need to walk along the (often nonexistent) shoulder of the road or rent a motorbike/scooter from somewhere- either option is fairly risky. It's pretty far from everything; you'll need to take a bus/taxi/whatever to any beach, there's a bunch of decent foreigner-oriented restaurants/bars near the roundabout 1.5 km to the South (but I don't recommend walking along the road when it's dark).

Liked: the location of the hostel was really great for us, you could reach any point of phuket within 30 min and the room was really great and clean. the staff was the most friendliest I have met so far. I would recommand this place to anyone without no doubt.

Liked: The hostel was lovely, clean sheets and towels every day. We were a big group of 8 and we were accomodated just perfectly. Don't be put off when people say its in the middle of nowhere because it isn't. There is lots of stuff around. Fantastic value for money.

Liked: Nice and clean, cheap with an easy breakfast catered for, no matter how cheap of a room you choose.

Disliked: A little out of the way. Cost us as much in taxi/moto to get there, compared with room price. Very simple rooms.

Liked: Pretty much nothing. This place is freaking far from Patong Beach. I had to pay so much travelling from here to Phuket Town and then to Patong Beach (after the bus service ends). Furthermore, there is no direct bus to Patong Beach. I had a very early flight to Bangkok from Phuket and I had to leave very early and hardly had any sleep in the airport because taxi drivers try to take opportunity to charge me expensive taxi fare just because there is hardly any taxis which go to the place where this hostel is located.

Liked: The staff was friendlyMy room was huge and clean.The building itself is quite nice.The location though is a real problem.You can rent a motorbike if you like but if you like parties you need to go to patong and even in motorbike it takes about 40 minutes to get there and you cant ride a bike while drunk so you need a taxi.The hostel offers trips to patong at the price of a taxi but its extremly costly especially if you are alone like me.But if you are two or more its okay.On the other hand if you love calm places, you will find peace in there.
