Liked: Staff were super friendly and helped book transport to our next stay at a reasonable price. Would definatly recommend sun west as a clean and friendly environment. The attached restaurant is a bonus as well.

Liked: Free internet - but not always consistent. Bathroom was one of the better i have exoperienced in thailand - it had hot water to!

Disliked: Not a good location, the staff didnt understand us when we tried to get some info and advice. Thai answer seems to laugh at everything. Wifi would be working and then would stop in the middle of doing anything. few doors away from what looks like a hookers bar to!

Liked: For me the location was good because I just wanted a place to stay for one night so I could easily get to to the pier in the morning. You can book a ticket for the ferry at the front desk, which was really convenient.

Disliked: No toilet paper.

Liked: The staff were welcoming and helpful and the place was kept clean. Free bottles of water was also a nice touch. The kitchen area is a big asset as it means you can make your own breakfasts / meals - if you need to save cash or don't feel like eating out.

Disliked: Nothing much - only that the atmosphere wasn't that social ie for meeting other travellers.

Liked: Since we flew into Phueket late and heading over to Kho Phi Phi the next day, it was a great stop over accommodation.

Liked: It´s really close to the busterminal, so great if you need an early departure to any place in Thailand. The street itself isn´t that good, but it´s okay and it didn´t feel really dangerous.

Disliked: It´s not really close to the centre of Phuket Town, but I think Phuket Town isn´t that nice anyway. So, just use it as an easy place for transport to elsewhere in the country.

Liked: dorm room was very spacious and clean very good value for money. Would recommend it for a cheap stop over before going on.

Disliked: One of the people in our room insisted on leaving the back door open so we all got bitten to bits by mosquitos, also the bathroom was very dirty, as shower is above the toilet it was always wet in there. The street the hostel is in seems a bit seedy and there is not much around unless you get a bus into Patong/Chalong.

Liked: Very convenient hotel. Close to the bus terminal. Helpful and friendly staff, free cofeee and nice collective kitchen. Free internet access (both wifi and 3 good quality computers free to use, wich is very rare in Thai hostels/guesthouse). Rooms were very clean, with A/C and recent furniture.

Disliked: Nothing. The hotel is quite far from Patong and sea front but I chose it in purpose.

Liked: The location is perfect if your passing through. The bus station is just 15 minutes walk. I've stayed there one night and went to the beach for one day which is also easily to reach from the local bus station, only 15 minutes walk. The rooms are fine, nothing special. There's a little kitchen and a little space where you can watch TV and DVD's. There's also free internet which is a big plus!

Disliked: If you come to party, this is not the place to stay

Liked: Good place. Good location close to the bus station. The staff was really helpful. They were able to organize us boat tickets to Phi Phi. The room was good value. We had air con, with private bathroom and shower. No breakfast but they offer a kitchen, and free coffee. There is some restaurants nearby. Our room was acctually pretty quiet so we got a good nights sleep. Overall good and decent place.

Liked: I felt safe here and the staff is very courteous. It is very clean and they represented themselves well.

Disliked: The only draw back is that they did not mention that I had to pay for the use of a door key but it wasn't very much more.

Liked: I liked the staff and location in particular, close to many bus services, quiet for a city location.

Disliked: Very little really although urban landscapes are generally lack in natural aesthetics it is close to a few green patches and the ocean.

Liked: Kitchen, nice hangout area with DVDs and books and comfy couches. Close to downtown Phuket Town but on a quiet street.
