Liked: Lamai apartments was close enough to all the night life for entertainment And far enough away that it was quiet at night if you just wanted to stay in and chill. Room was great, always clean, fridge, tv, DVD, cable and you own personal pc, couldn't have asked for more, highly recommended and good value for money.

Liked: Not much. I would not stay here again.

Disliked: This is a dismal location, and not as advertised on HostelBookers.com. It is further away than the map shows. Additionally, we arrived to find that our booking was not held as promised and we were told to go book at a more expensive location... bit of a scam. Finally, alot of work was being done during the stay, which was both noisy and inconvenient (my hand ended up entirely covered in paint one day from an unmarked redo of the stairway railing, and scraping paint off myself is not really how I want to spend my vacation). Worst place of the many we stayed @ on our trip around Thailand.

Disliked: Location is a bit far from Bangla Road. Tho is still walkable distance (about 2km).

Liked: Extended stay beyond initial booking. Bit of a hike from the down-town action but has advantage of being cheaper and quieter because of it. Would I stay there again? - You bet.

Liked: Hotel was very clean and well kept, maids visited every day giving us clean towels, emptying bins, cleaning the bathroom, making the beds etc. Air con worked very well as did the fan,tv,fridge etc.Security was excellent, needed an electronic key for the front door as well as a standard key for your room, with an electronic safe inside your room.Was about 15 minutes walk to the beach so you could get a decent nights sleep away from the noise of Bangla road.

Liked: Sooo clean, great value for money-have tv, dvd player, fridge etc for cheap rates.Always cleaned room when wanted and provide beach towels for free! Staff v. helpful.Only thing-location is quite far from beach but still can walk-15mins max.Quite a trek from nightlife though but we managed!Would reccomend.

Liked: The rooms were really clean and the short walk to Bangla road was safe.One tip is organise your own taxi back to the airport, otherwise you need to pay 700 Baht for the airport limo company.

Liked: There was an error with the booking so they 'upgraded' me to the Lamai Inn - nice start to my backpacking trip.

Liked: The staff were very helpful and the location is perfect, only about 10min walk to beach and main patong road but far enough away not to have all the noise and hassle of the main area. Convenience store right outside the hotel and more just down the road. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Great facilities. The whole stay was amazing!!!
