The Khanom Golden Beach Hotel is located directly to Nadan-Beach, in the middle of the unspoiled Khanom Bay. The Bay is approximately 10 km long.
The ideal place for Guests, searching for silence and relaxation in a warm climate.
Also for long-time-vacationers, to stay here in a tropical climate, while at home is wintertime.
The waves here are quiet predominant, so that everyone can swim safely. To both sides, smaller resorts change with bungalows, fisher-cottages and some solid-built houses, embedded in palm-groves.
Scenically it is surrounded by mountains and natural forest.
The local fishers with small fisher-boats land fresh fish, shrimps and crab of the productive Bay almost daily.
From this the hotel-kitchen also profits: Always fresh seafood at a favourable price.
The district Khanom has 25.000 inhabitants approximately.
The next part of the town is called Si-Yaek, and approximately 1.5 km from the hotel and can be reached by foot as well. This part has also 3 Bank Offices.
A small market with fresh fruit and vegetables, kitchens and many small businesses. Motorcycle taxis and car taxis service are available almost everywhere.
The bigger part of the area, Bang Nod, is approximately 3.5 km from the town and 5 km in distance from the Hotel.
Both places are connected by a well developed street. There is a administrative, police-station, post office and bank offices.
The hotel offers a driving service.
In Bang Nod, there is a small, developed harbour for the fisherman ships.
Small supermarkets offers everything for the local demand.
Two markets and small restaurants. Everyday sorted and good fresh food.
There are two morning markets on sunday and wednesday.
Pink dolphins are around here, fishing and playing in the bay.
The distance to the Pier Donsak where the Ferries leave,
is about 20 Minutes by car.
From here, the ferryboats drive to the known vacation-island,
to Koh Samui, for example hourly, also to other islands.
