Liked: The bungalows were super cute and the staff were very lovely. Friendly and willing to help and chat anytime. They were also very worried when we didnt make it home back one nite (nice to know someone actually noticed incase we had actually been in trouble) Food was good. The beach is secluded and peaceful if you're after some quiet away from the hustle and bustle of aonang. Ocean was so warm! Pretty scenery. Great for couples. Internet is also available there which was very helpful!

Disliked: It is not convenient if you are using krabi as a kicking off point to visit the surrounding islands (phi phi, maya, ray lei etc) as it is a 350 baht taxi (15 min) from the room just to the pier. You can't get taxis that will take you back to the room as they think it's too far and literally laugh at you when you ask. You can get a 50 baht long tail boat back which is good but after dark they charge you 350 baht. This can make your day quite expensive if on a budget. They also made us pay half for a night we isn't stay despite us emailing them prior and calling the website number that was disconnected.

Liked: Very friendly staff. "You may come as a stranger, you stay as family and you leave as a friend" is the owner's and they really do live it! The hostel is located at a very calm, peaceful and sandy beach. The reasonably priced food is delucious.

Liked: The owners are EXCEPTIONALLY helpful, with very good English. Very quiet and relaxed atmosphere.

Disliked: We didn't have a mosquito repellent in hour possession:) Definitely make sure you have one. There are anti-mosquito candles and other stuff outside bungalows, nevertheless, you can't carry the candle where ever you go:) It's a perfect place if you have rented a car, otherwise, the local transportation to Ao Nang gets pricey (400-450 Baht one way)

Liked: It was on a very quiet and secluded beachfront, great views out to islands. Very helpful staff, good food, wonderful ambiance if you want peaceful a change from the ratrace, NO wild-partying neighbours, and not in a hurry to get anywhere. It was just what we wanted!!

Disliked: Basic huts with cold showers, electricity from 6PM to 6 AM - not suitable for party-animals.

Liked: It was really nice experience to stay in this place. Da-a and her family were very kind and helpful, giving a lot of good advices The place is very quite and you have a beach for your own I definetely recomend it to everyone!!

Liked: it is located in a laid back district. Little crowds with tranquility beach view of the untouchable. Worth to unwind from the buzzing city central for a quality "me" time. Friendly staff! very primitive feel

Disliked: constant low tide and low current. feels like i'm in a pond. not much variety in the food menu. sand is not pristine to my expectation.

Liked: I loved my time here. Its cute, the family his incredibly helpful, and it was exactly what i needed for some peace & solitude.

Disliked: The only negative is that its fairly far from town, about an hour walk, but they do have scooters to rent or they will taxi you for a price.

Liked: The place is perfect if you not planning to meet people and have party time. This is a very remote beach far from the centre. We loved Long Beach because we wished a quiet peacefully holiday. We got that here. If you want to shopping and going to bars or looking for tourishy place, avoid this accomodation. Since the beach is not good to swim because there is no deep water, you can only have sunbath, but I highly recommend the accomodation for families with little children.

Disliked: When we got there the lady who was in charge did not know we arrive, what type of booking did we have, and therefore she looked very helpless, so as we. I don't like when I have to prove there is a booking on my name. I felt uncorfortable. The other problem, what is not really a problem is that Long Beach a really remote beach and so you get bored there easily. They have only 3 bad kayak to offer you any activity beside laying on the beach. They don't have electricity only morning and eveningtime. You have short time to check your emails on the net especially because only one computer on the place. Be awared that.

Liked: Beautiful location perfect if you want to relax and avoid another drinking session. Huts are right on the beach and weather was perfect in Krabi. The staff were extremely helpful!!

Disliked: Getting into town was a little bit of a mission so if you need anything or get bored of relaxing you need to walk down the beach and catch a londtail boat across the chanel then a short taxi ride or hire a scooter or taxi which prob takes longer

Liked: It was right on the beach and so quiet. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners.

Disliked: After a few days the absence of hot water became a little tiring.

Liked: Quite location and nice quite beach, on site restaurant with good, reasonably priced food. It is remote though. An hours walk to so nang beach, which involved using a long tail boat to cross an estuary. As the boats only operate until 5pm, there is no option but the site in the evening.

Disliked: Remote, but not quite in the evenings as music from a local bar/hotel can be heard until very late at night. Accommodation is very, very basic - even compared to the hilltribe trekking accommodation in Chaing Mai. Communal shower us small dark concrete room with no lighting and tiny window, so have to shower with the door open, opening onto footpath through site. For 50% of my stay there was no water available for showering, not great after a day on the beach, and staff were completely indifferent to this as an issue.

Liked: I liked the location of this and the fact that it is actually on the beach. The food was amazing also and the staff were very attentive.

Disliked: it was just a bit quiet as we were the only ones there apart from one other gIrl but it was the beginning of the tourist season so I would imagine it would be a lot better at the height of season.

Liked: Beautiful, deserted beach. lovely little beach huts, all made by hand- felt very 'thai'! Picked up from airport. Helpful staff.

Disliked: When I arrived, I was the only guest, and had been for weeks. the location is incredibly isolated- totally out of the way, which would have been great had it not been raining! It is a good 20 mins to Ao Nang, which you can't walk to, no taxi's around and no shops or restaurants. Was overcharged a little, and felt a bit like it was because they wanted to take advantage of the only guest they had- they said its because i only stayed 2 nights instead of 3, but the deposit was paid...

Liked: Vey relaxing and secluded, we felt like we had the beach to ourselves. This is a great place to totally chill out.The bungalows were great, very comfortable and full of character!The family runnning the place were amazing and went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay, inlcuding taking us out to show us the sights in Krabi and to take part in the Songkran festival. It was so great to get to know "real" people - we felt like a part of the family.

Liked: Stayed here after having partied the other night at the Full Moon Party (Koh Pangan)... Really good to relax and come down - since there's nothing to do at long beach and it's really quiet.

Liked: Out of the whole time we spent in Thailand our time here was by far the best, you truely do stay here as part of the family. The lovely huts have just what you need too be comfortable set right on top of a very private and secluded beach but just a short drive away from Ao Nang, the best of both! You will feel at home here also with fantastic food, the best soup I've tasted!
