Liked: A/C; great bunks w/ privacy curtain, locker, and TV; access to Pavilion Hotel and Lamai Beach across the street/location; design

Disliked: no kitchen, only fridge, microwave, and toaster; common areas were open, so mosquitoes could feast; no planned activities; staff could use more personality

Liked: Absolutely, by far, the cleanist hostel I've stayed in. For the islands, it's really not that expensive. When travelling solo, bungalows are not always a good option because you have to pay the double or triple portions yourself. This hostel has a wonderful communal area - very comfortable.Love this place would highly recommend it.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Everything! The location is fantastic and the layout of both the hostel and the rooms is perfect for interaction and privacy. The staff are friendly and helpful, the bathrooms are clean, and breakfast is included!

Liked: Gorgeous modern Hostel with good upkeep. A great location to beaches and shops. A less chaotic area than Cheweng but still has plenty to do or is a short 100bt trip to party central. Met lots of great people in my room even though we had our privacy screens whch is a nice change from many Thai hostels. Communal showers on floor were kept clean as was everything else with the shoes off policy. Amazing showers. Comfy beds. Air con rooms. Good social areas.

Disliked: The 24hr reception is rarely maned but as you rarely need to talk to reception outside standard hours it wasn't personally a problem, just an observation. If you do want to party every night I would suggest staying elsewhere in Cheweng Beach. If you are doing tours and hanging at the beach it's perfect :-)

Liked: Very modern facility. Very clean rooms.

Disliked: There were some drunk old guys who were staying at the hostel blaring music at 7AM. The staff did nothing until there were repeated complaints from guests to ask them to stop and ask the staff for assistance. Eventually they did get booted, but the hostel staff should be more proactive with this sort of tthing.

Liked: It's duper cute and close to the beach which is right across the street through The Pavilion (same owner). Friendly staff and nice accommodation. Locker and tv in bed which is convenient and awesome! Mr. Oak and morning lady receptionist were awesome and personally made sure my stay is great and extremely helpful in making arrangements on the island. Good location on the island to relax but far from the downtown area if party is your scene.

Disliked: Rate is slightly on the high end for a hostel though the staff earns the merit.

Liked: Amazing location, across the road from the beach. It's set up more like a hotel with dorm beds, so no kitchen.

Disliked: Breakfast was small, tea/coffee/croissant/juice.

Liked: Good location with the beach just nearby and nightlife not too far either. Very safe and clean place to stay and good place to meet other travellers. Staff is very helpful.

Disliked: Difficult to find something negative to say..well, juice was too sweet on breakfast

Liked: had an awesome stay at I bed ended up staying longer than intended great place to meet people with a good communal area, really clean and comfortable. Loved the hostel rooms had own privacy curtains so could have own space but still meet everyone in the dorm. Area was slightly quiet but was low season, there are bars and resturants just up the street , great night market for food aswell. The beach is really close just had to walk thru the hostel opposite . Had an awesome stay here and meet some really great people. Staff were always helpful aswell.

Disliked: this hostel was a little bit expensive but well worth it .

Liked: The staff were so friendly and the hostel is amazingly clean. It felt much more like a budget hotel than a hostel. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach and for a small fee you can also use the facilities across the road in their sister hotel.

Disliked: As I was staying at the beginning of the full moon period the hostel was very quiet. I think at other times of the month it would be much busier. This isn't the fault of the hostel at all.

Liked: This place is great! You get privacy in dorms with curtains across the bed and your own lockable cupboard at your bed. Lockers (use your own padlock) also available outside the dorms. The place is super clean and modern with fridge, social area and large tvs. The showers are excellent. Breakfast is included (toast, muffins, juice). Friendly staff. Would def come back to this place.

Disliked: A bit more expensive than other hostels but you def get what you pay for.

Liked: This is definitely one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. It is comfortable, clean, the staff are really friendly and helpful, there are things such as curtains on bunk beds for privacy, reading lapms, individual lockers/closets and even a mini TV...not that you have time to watch it with the beach across the street and loads of fellow travellers hanging out in the kitchen/living room area. There's free breakfasts, wifi (and a computer if you don't have your own), they even provide soap and shampoo in the classy showers. There's a lovely rooftop terrace and a washing machine at your disposal. You can acess the beach through the hotel on the opposite side of the street where you can also use the swimming pool for 200 baht. Anyway, ibed is an excellent value for money and I would definitely recomend it to anyone:)

Liked: I really couldn't fault this hostel - It's in a great location, is clean, stylish and secure and the vibe there is brilliant - it's great for meeting other people. Best hostel I've stayed at.

Liked: Despite being price, great value for money. One of the best hostels I've stayed at. The beds and privacy in the dorm is brilliant, which a nice area and facilities if you feel like being more sociable. Great location too

Disliked: A little pricey.

Liked: I've travelled through hostels in South America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and this is one of the nicest hostels I've ever stayed in. It's owned by the 4 star resort across the road, and it shows. Instead of being built like a hostel, its much more like a hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff was incredibly helpful, all public spaces were emasculate, and the over all design of the property is very nice.

Disliked: Got ripped off on the cab from the airport, not the hostels fault, but I wish I knew what to pay

Liked: Very clean and modern. All the facilities you need. Lockers for bags etc.

Disliked: A bit on the expensive side as there were less pricey hotels around but worth it for the "hostel experience".
