Liked: Good hostel, but not that many people staying there.Get aircon when you go, we just had a fan room and when you showered youd be sweating again without aircon.2min walk to nearest beach about 15min from main street where all the markets and resturants are.The hostelhas a resturant opposite and the food is really good and resonible price considering how touristy koh samui can be.No lockers or safe provided though and the cleaners will take advantage if you leave your money insight for them.

Liked: The place is clean, close to the beach, they rent scooters for 150BHT/24h. Very friendly, sometimes a bit confused receptionist who never loses her smile. Definitely a place to have fun and meet other people. The dorm I stayed in had only a fan, which makes u get up earlier and enjoy Samui even more. Great value for the money. I wish I was there.

Liked: the manager is bristish and really helpful and goes out of his way to help. when he isnt around however it goes to pot and the other thai staff dont have a clue whats going on! we had an air con room but it was still boiling, overall pretty good though, by the quiet part of chewand beach , bout 20 - 30 mins walk to the busy part

Liked: The staff are great, it's a stone's-throw from the beach, a wee walk into town, but far enough away that it's peaceful. The rooms are comfortable, I stayed in both a private room and the dorm and both were more than satisfactory.

Liked: When I arrived there was a free BBQ put on by the owner. Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful owner. DVD player for rent and lots of DVDs to chose from.

Liked: I wouldn't recommend it. The owner is a lazy person who treats very badly the girls who work for him (I saw one of them crying). The room was very dirty and there was no toilet paper. The day I left the room it was cleaned before I checked out and I found it very annoying, for me and for those who were coming (I still needed a shower... ). But the worst of all was the missed reservation. I paid a transfer service and I was supposed to be picked up at 12. Nobody showed up, the girl at the reception knew anything about my reservation and she did not have the number of the agency which was supposed to pick me up. When the owner of the guesthouse came back, they called the agency and they found out that there was no reservation and I had to wait until 16 because all the boats were fully booked. I'd say the man never made my reservation because he asked me far too many times what time my boat was, but even if it was the agency mistake he should have showed some interest about my situation, while he clearly didn't give a shit about. Eventually somebody came to pick me up and I was very happy to leave that place.
