Disliked: The owner and staff were not very helpful or friendly. The pool and beach that is available to use belongs to the Seascape hotel across the street, the staff there act quite frosty towards AKWA guests even though there is an agreement between the establishments. We were moved to Saver Guesthouse down the street as the owner had double booked the room we requested. Very incovenient to say the least. We were told we would have access to Wifi in our room at all times, but unfortunately the Wifi reception was very poor and even non existant at times.

Liked: the decor

Disliked: Booked as per usual through Hostel Bookers but when I arrived they were closed for 2 days refurbishments. Unapologetically, sent me away for 2 hours to check in at 3pm. Once they reopened the bar/reception on the day of my departure I found the english staff incredibly rude and arrogant just in general conversation. I'm not a fussy traveler but AKWA clearly do not understand the basic etiquette of customer service from my experience.

Liked: Good sized room, very clean. Great service -room cleaned daily, water, towels, toilet paper all provided each day at no extra cost

Disliked: A bit far away from the best nightlife in Chawang. Also mostly couples so not a great place to meet people as a single traveller
