Liked: Really nice little place. Alan and Nid are really friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean. The pool and bar are nice. Laundry and Motorbike hire facilities. Lots of cute animals.

Disliked: Mosquitoes. Could do with Tea and Coffee facilities in room.

Liked: nice location, Friendly owners family,sunset lake side,many animals,Space to relax. when I visited new dorm opens.wide room,clean bathroom,comfortable bed,I god good sleep. nice bungalows Located within walking range of massages and markets and restaurants and bars nearby. and row price.nice bungalows.

Disliked: there is no paved road to the gate, taxis usually do not want to go. But even walking around 100m. this evening, kick-boxing matches night, one time, the cheers were sounded.They are not a big problem.

Liked: It was set in beautiful garden and mostly quiet during the day (apart from when the van with the speakerphone was parked round the corner playing rocky music for the thai boxing). There was laundry and restaurant service on offer in the area. The bedroom and bathroom were clean enough. Breakfast was ok - tea/coffee, 2 slices of toast with butter and jam and a small fruit platter served all morning so no need to get up early.

Disliked: It was very noisy at night toward the back end bungalows and we coiuln't sleep till 4am because of dance music from the club. Bad location 10 minutes from Chaweng beach down a dirt track. Might as well stay on the beach front and have a good location - it will be just as noisy. Also the aircon did not have a low setting so you were freezing cold when it was on and hot within 5 minutes of turning it off. There was no atmosphere within the actual complex to meet other travellers and the bed cover was a cheap satin material which was uncomfortable to sleep in.

Liked: Really basic but lovely bungalows, clean bedding, towels and water every day. Really nice breakfast of toast and fresh fruit. The food served was delicious and a great atmosphere with kittens, bunnyrabbits, dogs, hens etc running round the place! Everyone was really friendly and only ten minutes from the beach and bars. We went to the full moon from here and it worked out fine.

Disliked: The only thing which would have made this place perfect would be freewifi, although there are computers with Internet acess for 60b an hour.

Liked: Very friendly staff, safe, secure and comfortable - all in all, a very pleasant stay.

Disliked: Location is a little bit out of the way, though that is good for those wanting some peace and quiet.

Liked: The staff were fantastic - bringing us fresh fruit and water or leaving it outside our room if we were not there. The rooms were very clean and the shower was hot, not always a guarantee on islands in Thailand. They even drove us into town when we had a mix up with our bus we were meant to get. Excellent staff.

Disliked: The bungalows are down a bit of a dirt road and a bit away from all the action in Chaweng. However it's only a 10 minute walk and only another two to the beach so for what your paying its not bad at all. It just seems further away because it seems in the middle of nowhere. Once your over that however theres no problem at all.

Liked: The location is good for the price.. it's about a 10-15 minute walk to Chawang beach.. we didn't mind walking at all (although you do have to walk down a street of hooker bars!!) its very close to one of the best bars on the island, the Reggae Bar. Also when we arrived we were given a lovely bowl of fresh fruit and a glass of juice and there were towels folded on the bed into the shape of elephants!! cute! Overall, we had a really nice stay!!

Disliked: We only stayed one night.. and we went out drinking.. so we didnt mind the noise coming from the near by pubs, but if you planned on taking it easy and getting a good sleep.. you may have a little trouble with the blasting music from the bars.

Liked: Nids was sweet bungalows in lake outside of center of Chewang beach so its kinda far from the action but it was very cheap and clean,also the great thing was free breakfast and water every day,clean free towels and free room cleaning service every day.if u rent a bike and wanna be away from craziness of Chewang beach,then u are gonna like it.Bungalows are surrounded with lots of plants and domestic animals (rabbits n cats)which was sweet also

Disliked: there was nobody staying there,we saw four people in three days so if u are looking for fun or atmosphere,u re gonna be disappointed but its romantic for couples and has a feeling of being closer to nature

Liked: Alan and Nid are fantastic! Warm, friendly, and very welcoming. Complimentary breakfast was the best way to start the day. The bungalows are a nice change from hostel living with private hot shower, and porch to enjoy. Beautiful gardens, variety of animals living on the property.

Disliked: A bit pricey, but everything in Koh Samui seemed to be. How about a free beer upon arrival!?

Liked: really calm, clean, good staff and really good food. Many plants and cute animals.

Disliked: Only the location. Pretty off but still only 10-15 min to beach and the city.

Liked: This is a family run and owned facilty. All the staff are willing to help you at any time of the day or night. We asked to move rooms because of noise and they were more than happy to help. The rooms are cheap, but the beds are comfortable, hot powerful showers and it is very clean. The food that Nid cooks herself in the restuarnt is also very good. The animals and the garden gives the place a lovely atmosphere,

Disliked: When we first arrived at the location, we had to walk along a dirt track to what seemed the middile of nowhere, which made us feel a bit uneasy about the geusthouse. We were placed in the noisey room (this was explained to us though and we accepted), although when we moved rooms it was still a bit too noisey.

Liked: its is the best place i have stayed in in thailand so far. stay are so friendly. give you free breakfast and water every morning. fridges and safes in rooms. air con! very clean. lovely gardens and private seating area outside each bungalow. loved it! cant rate it highly enough.

Liked: Alan and Nid were very welcoming and extremelly helpful. The dirt road access was a bit of a pain but it's not to far from the main strip. U get complementary fruit and toast each day and the laundry service is second to none!
