Liked: You might consider renting a scooter to get around Chaweng Beach. The hostel is located at a remote street but only 5 minutes (walking) away from fun places.

Liked: the bungalow was really cozy and clean. about a 10-15 min walk to main part of town which isn't a problem unless you are out late but then you can just get a taxi (100 BAHT). I liked that they had heaps of english tv channels too. would recommend this place as it is affordable for those on a budget.

Liked: It's the best deal I could find on (erm, NEAR) Chaweng, and the only place that gives lone travelers a fair shake. The Thai family that runs the place are very friendly.

Liked: This is one of the better hostels that we have stayed in Thailand.The only slight problem we had was on arrival we had already paid the 10% deposit via hostel bookers but they didn't seem to understand this & tried to charge the full value when we said already part paid they finally agreed but thought we were just trying to reduce the room price. They did change the towels each day & bedding (but not on our last day) and brought fresh fruit & water. Just a short walk into the town & beach

Liked: Only complaint I have was the bed was quite hard but Nid's hospitality more than made up for this small issue!

Liked: This is a new hostel, it's only been open about a month to backpackers, the lady there was so helpful with everything we wanted. Our room was spotless everyday and fresh fruit and water was given to us at every chance she seen us. It;s a good place to meet the locals as a lot of the workers from Cheweng live there. It's a little bit out of the way but still only a 5 min walk to the beach. The bungalows were set in lovely gardens with lovely touches like swinging chairs.Overall this was a great place to stay and Nid went out of her way to make us happy.

Liked: Staff were very friendly, rooms were SPOTLESS - cleaned everyday. Would urge anyone going to Samui to stay at nids. Easy walk to beach.
