Liked: Small but beautiful beach with big rocks, a good breakfast was included in price.

Disliked: No WiFi in rooms, one electric plug for ten tables in the lobby.

Liked: The staff was very friendly, speaks even korean. Our bungalow has been reasonably big and was almost directly at the sea, so that you can fall asleep with the sound of the sea.

Disliked: Unfortunatley, the beach directly at the hotel does not match the closeby beaches lamai and chaweng, so that you have a longer way to the beach. As walking to the beaches ia rather an adventure, this results in high tuk-tuk costs. Additionally the hotel itself does not serve any food except for breakfast. so you have additionnal tuk-tuk costs for dinner as well.

Disliked: Not in the middle of the center so first to take a taxi to the city center. But because your outside the city, there is much quitness!

Liked: The property was beutiful!, the room was just in front of the beach. Very clean and the view amazing, the hostel is quite. Far from the city centre but we rent a motorbike and it was ok.

Disliked: The owner was the receptionist and she didn't know anything about activities, she didn't offer any information. We had to do everything apart. She was no the most welcome when we arrived.

Liked: Amazing views and if its peace and quiet your after then this is the place for you. It is describede as having somewhere to eat/drink and internet to use although this was under renovation when i was there so i literally found myself in the middle of nowhere albeit with a beautiful view.The owner was helpful and arranged for me to hire a much needed moped for the day, but she also said that the reception area was for use only at breakfast (what a waste) and to use the other area for lunch/dinner/internet (the place which was closed for renovation)All in all, i wanted somewhere cheap and peaceful and i definately got that, although at times i was a little worried about the lack of security around the place. I basically had the place to myself. I wouldnt recommend to solo travellers (single female's like myself) although groups or couples would be fine here if you dont mind a bit of a climb up the many steps and slopes.

Liked: We really loved the views on offer, the location (as Chaweng is too hectic at times) and the fact that we had Lamai and Chaweng beach so close (by scooter). Friendly staff and comfortable. Great value for money.

Liked: This is a lovely place, but it should be noted that it is in the middle of nowhere, and walking is not possible here as the roads are narrow and somewhat treacherous. Please plan for at least 300 baht/day taxi expenses. Also, the restaurant is pretty terrible.

Liked: breakfast was included, the views were stunning and the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. rooms were cleaned daily and fresh water was left in the fridge. if you drive hire a jeep or a motor cycle as the hotel is between chaweng and lamai beach and songthaews and taxis are expensive as are tours as there is so much to see on the island.

Liked: We enjoyed a wonderful relaxing break, beautiful views and staff were friendly and helpful. A little far out of town, but nice if you like to relax by the pool or on your balcony. Beach too rocky for swimming, but lovely to look at. Reccommend for families or couples.

Liked: the views also the owner a lady was quite rude to me when i arrvied and put passport in locker which was 30 baht per day and every time i wanted to open it they wanted to open it for me while i waited outside also no night watchman the exit was open 24-7 and the safe deposit box was just though a lock door so anyone could walk in of the street after dark and break into the lockers..

Liked: Security is a bit of a worry. There cleaner stole of all things my partners makeup. As we arrived people had an Ipod stolen. I used the locker which is the owners office for my valuables. The floors of the bungaloo had holes in them so if you are worried about mosquitoes bring a net. on the upside the view and position are great, you away from hustle and bustle, a short scooter ride from both major beach towns.

Liked: The hotel is far from the central cities but if you rental a mortar cycle, you never have a problem with it. the rooms are so much better than i thought. also the manager of the bungalow is so nice.

Liked: The bungaloes are perfect if you want to be away from it all and don't mind forking out for a taxi every night to get into town to eat. There was food on offer at the resort, but they seemed to close whenever we were hungry...the owner would try to usher you up to her restaurant up the road instead - which is considerably more expensive. The pool was nice and rooms were comfortable.
