Liked: Unique rooms in the trees, when we got off the ferry a man from ingphu collected us and walked to the property which was nice. It looks farther then it is from town, only 5 mins walk

Liked: Staff at this hostel where friendly enough but who isnt in Thailand? They were not overly helpful - didnt even respond to email asking to change booking - staff at our previous hostel had to ring and organise it all happily. The rooms where good enough just way to overpriced. We didnt mind so much the hike out there (with all our luggage no service came for us even on request) but alot of people where complaining about all sorts of things while we were there. Its quiet at night at least if thats something your looking for. I'd recommend staying one or two nights max then finding a cheaper room elsewherer when you are there. We checked out and found a place easily for a third of the cost, double the service, ten times the location and 100times the quality of the room and bathroom. Had a fine time there but wouldnt recommend it to any friends except as a last resort for a night or two.

Liked: I stayed at a very nice bungalow up the hill. It was a tuff hike up but once your there, it was worth it! The restaurant had good food and the staff was very friendly

Liked: I wouldn't come back to this place. You have to walk a lot to get to your room.The view is nice, but it's just too far away from town and the beach.The breakfast is too small and if you want more you have to pay.The bed is very uncomfortable, you could also sleep on the floor.At night it's very noisy...you hear the music from the bars.

Liked: this is a good place to stay on phi phi, it is a bit out of the main part of 'town' but we liked that. great swimming pool and almost tree house style lodges but there was no hot water in the ones we stayed in. seemed quite good value compared to other accom on the island. Recommended.

Liked: 15min uphill climb from the pier/town center. Kinda far after a day of fun. No hot showers. But I left my phone in the room and they brought it all the way down to the pier for me quickly so i could catch my boat. that was really nice of them. left a good impression and i'd recommend it other than the distance.

Liked: In a nutshell:I stayed at this place in the off season, and this was a backpacking trip.This place was extremely expensive compared to what they offered and the cheap nature of lodging prices in Thailand. There are loads of other places to stay in Phi Phi close to the main strip that charge something like 800 THB for 3 people.The food they serve is good, but overpriced and the portions are small. The walk home could be intimidating later at night (because the place is so secluded), its probably a 5-10 minute uphill walk from the beach bars, etc. I felt like my stuff was safe in the lock box by the reception desk. Bring a lock.The internet at this place was painstakingly slow, and you pay the same as you would at an internet cafe. Surf somewhere else.A/C works well, but you have to be in the room for it to be on.Showers had good pressure, hot water.For what we paid per night (4 of us in a double deluxe at 1800 THB, 52 USD), this place was almost a rip-off. If you don't have a reservation, you can probably negotiate the price, but we reserved a couple 4 person rooms because our group was large. I think other people were staying at this place for 1400/night (I gather this because when we tacked on an additional night, that's all we were charged, when they realized the mistake, they wanted another 100 THB from each of us). For $52/night, they forgot to clean our floors, make our beds, or give us new towels. I know that may sound a bit picky, but keep in mind that EVERYWHERE else in Thailand was MUCH cheaper than this place, so I expected more. I bet this place is better during the busy season, with more people stay there, however it's quite off the main road and I suppose that's why the place was practically empty when we stayed, thus the atmosphere sucked.

Liked: We had an ant infestation under our bed and the laundry service returned our clothes still damp. No hot water in the shower.Nice pool though.
