The Fubar lounge is a vibrant bar/café with ample comfy pillow-scattered seating areas, playing great music day and night, serving drinks, fresh coffee, tea. Delicious food is also available from nearby restaurants that will happily deliver :) There is always a relaxed family atmosphere at Fubar - a great place to meet other travellers and locals.

We do like a good party sometimes. Fubar has earned a solid reputation for high quality house/electro music, top DJs who love playing, the excellent 2,000 watt sound system, great atmosphere and one of the best full moon parties/after parties, with international DJs playing the most loveliest house/tech/minimal all night and sometimes all next day come the main event!

Accommodation Information

We have 4 rooms at Fubar:

22 bed dorm (2 beds are double beds) with 2 showers/toilets (ground floor)
16 bed dorm with 1 toilet/shower and 1 shower (1st floor)
7 bed dorm (shares toilet showers with 16 bed dorm) (top floor - attic - sea view)
1 private en suite double bed (maximum 2 double beds) with hot shower/toilet

The 22 and 16 bed dorms are of a similar high standard with each bed having one electric point and a light. The 22 bed dorm is quiet, further from the beach music. The 16 bed dorm has a little bit more noise than the 22 bed (though still quiet in our opinion!), and is of a similar standard (more spacious with a communal area). The 7 bed attic dorm is small, wooden, basic, and more noisy than the other 2 rooms. It does have a sea view which is lovely in the day time. There are electrical points near the beds.

All beds are of the same quality (apart from in the private room) (Thai style coconut wood) - all rooms have air con which is adjustable by guests personally.

Location Information

We are directly off the full moon party beach, a street best known locally as on 'Zoom street' (a street from the beach where Zoom club is). There is a big tree at the bottom of the road at the beach, with green lights up the tree and a white DJ box at the bottom.

On our street there is also a clothes shop, a couple of Thai noodle soup restaurants, and various other tasty restaurants and bars. We are a 1 minute walk to the centre of Haad Rin where you can find all kinds of goods and services!
